Cowboys down 27-3 at the half.
McCarthy might be getting some time to relax in retirement quicker than he thought.

I hate having to root for the Cowboys, as I want the Lions to lose. 27-3 makes it easier to hate both teams. You can never count on the Cowboys, other than to let you down.
MM went for it on 4th down (2 yards for 1st) from his OWN 38... and failed.
Detroit scored a TD from the TO on downs.
Oh, and Dak with a beautiful INT in the EZ.
I'm afraid this could be the end of Pittsburgh Macho in Dallas.
Lions look pretty good. Jerry and his team gonna get a lot of air time this week

4th Straight game down by 15+ at half. Not good.
Lions drive down on the opening drive of the second half and get a TD on a quick snap that the Cowboys were unprepared for.
Lions look greeeeeeeeeeat. Cowboys look like crap.
Hutchinson looks to be done for quite a while. Too bad, hell of a player
Aidan Hutchinson just snapped his leg in half while sacking Dak Prescott.
I haven't seen it but your wording is horrific.
Near the beginning of the game, Cowboys down 7-3, Dak drives them the length of the field but then throws a pick in the EZ. You could just see the Cowboys sideline melt and the fans start to check out. Theyβve seen this movie before.
Lions respond with a long drive for a TD and the rout was on.
Who really thought Prescott was the guy in Dallas, he just really stinks.

Fox did not even show a replay. It was bad. Tim Krumrie Super Bowl bad.
I think the Packers completely broke the Boys with that playoff game ass whooping in Dallas last year. Good. Couldn't happen to a more deserving team/owner.
Twice now Dak has thrown incompletions and several seconds after the play was over the ref threw a PI flag.

Look away if squeamish.
Concern for left Tibia/Fibula fracture after impact with his teammates shin.
Often see these in MMA with the shin block during leg kicks. Brutal injury.#OnePride pic.twitter.com/i493KtvET6
Ainβt gonna look.
Guy was on the short list for Defensive Player of the Year. Great player, the heart and soul of that defense. In the not so long ago days that injury could have been career-threatening.
Lions trying plays at the goal line to get their eligible tackle a TD catch already up 34-9
Was kinda glad Fox didnβt show that leg injuryβ¦β¦.they said it was just to gruesome.
@ilcuqui posted:Itβs not that he stinks, he just comes up small in big moments. Which is ironic, because so did Tony Romo which, combined with Romoβs injuries, led to his being replaced by Dak.
Itβs not all his faultβ¦the team is mediocre at best.
and does ANYONE enjoy dimple boyβs announcing?? Ughβ¦..

They just extended Prescott for 4 years, 240 million with 231 million guaranteed. His dead cap hit in 2025 is 151 million.
They also just extended Lamb for 4 years, 136 million with 100 million guaranteed. His dead cap hit next year is 58 million.
They need to extend Micah Parsons soon.
They are in deep shit.

He's OK, but he'd have been better off starting a bit lower in the announcer rotation and working his way up, rather than being the number one guy right away.

He needed to be the third guy in the booth for at least a year. It probably would have been a blow to his ego, but he just does not have the knack for it.
And... ooff. That injury to Hutchinson. Given how long they spent on him on the field and getting him air-casted right away, there may be additional damage besides only the bones. This game is not kind to people's bodies.
The Lions just ran a play where they did a hook and ladder play to try to get Sewell to score a TD up 37-9.
I typically love seeing the Cowboys lose, but this is bush league stuff from the Lions right now. Ben Johnson looking really smug on the sidelines.

I think he'll be done with this after a year or two.

Karma is a bitch. Donβt think the other coaches and teams arenβt aware of bush league shit like this.

I hope sooner rather than laterβ¦β¦itβs his voice too, just not good broadcast material, ya know, JMHO.

Most coaches and teams wish THEY could be this inventive.

Lions are approaching that point in a team's ascension where they can begin spending too much time smelling their own farts and thinking it's a bouquet of roses. I hope they fall into that trap and it comes back to bite them in the ass.
Lions up 40-9 early in the 4th. Do wonder how long Pittsburgh Macho is going to last in Dallass. Detroit putting an ass whipping on them.

The league is about to approve him as a minority owner of the Raiders. Yet heβs on a networkβs #1 broadcast team. Go figure.
Dak just airmailed a throw that was almost returned for a pick 6. Give some credit to Lamb, who hustled the entire time and ran down the DB inside the 5 to present the pick 6 when a lot of other players made business decisions.
Gotta love the Lions throwing up 40-9 in the 4th quarter. Now 47-9
@Pikes Peak posted:Most coaches and teams wish THEY could be this inventive.
Inventiveness has nothing to do with it. Itβs rolling up the score. Like Belichick did during the Patriotsβ 2007 regular season. Eli had the last laugh
Now 47-9 after a Dak interception.

Especially against a team that is missing a lot of guys due to injury. It's not really inventive, it's just a bunch of trick plays that may work once every few years, but they are trying about a half dozen of them up 30. It's bush league.

This isn't against Urban Meyer or some POS coach who would do this to other teams. It's against McCarthy, who is probably gone after this game, but is highly respected as a human being around the league.
