I'm glad everyone is happy with Stokes. I'm happy with Stokes, but he still has work to do. Kevin King can be serviceable in the right situation -- King is not a starter.

Keep working Rookie. Nice job tonight.

Oh yeah. Aaron Rodgers MVP. Needs to work on his deep ball and timing with MVS.

Aaron Jones in mid-season form. Need to get Dillon more touches so Jones isn't worn out in December.

How about the Kickoff returns? Had 2 nice returns tonight. Good to see.

Everyone ready for Sunday Night Football?

I'm betting the Niners on the Money Line.

Heโ€™s a rookie who needs work, but I see him having the natural talent of finding and being close to receivers to break up passes. King can barely keep himself near the receiver, let alone find the ball most of the time.

That pretty much sounds like....

"Bring pressure or find a new job."

Jared Goff is a good QB when he has a Brick wall of an O-Line in front of him & stays in the pocket. When you get Goff to move off his spot, he looks like a Bears QB. That's why the Rams got rid of him -- he can't throw on the move and you all saw it tonight.

Jon Runyan and Eric Stokes may have won some jobs tonight.

Stokes' speed allows him to cover up some mistakes that a CB with average speed couldn't.

Runyan is one of those guys who plays better than he should based on his measurables. It's exactly what his scouting report out of Michigan said. I'm sure other guys look better in drills and at the combine, which is why he was a 6th round pick. But he'll always be in the right place and maximizes whatever ability he has.

He's got the potential to be a 2020s version of Mark Tauscher.

Fields running would be a concern not actual QB play.

That's what I'm referring to. If you watched the Bears game this past weekend, he ran for a couple first downs, if Dalton was in there, they would've had to punt.

The athleticism is what's apparent. Now he needs to read defenses too. He has arm talent but it's how he develops it. Because right now, he's Duante Culpepper

I was really stoked when Gutey drafted Runyan

When, since traitor #4 when to Minny has the Pack had to worry about a Qb in the division? Stafford  had his moments but I didnโ€™t sense great angst when a Lions game around.  Case, Kirk, Jay C?

Playing QB for the Lions has been a career killer for so many guys over the years. Stafford was good enough to keep them in a lot of games. How he does with the Rams this year will be important for how we look at him.

Stafford played for 3 coaches in Detroit. Jim Schwarz and Matt Patricia were almost the same guy. Rah-rah "motivators" that the Ford family felt acted like a football coach should act.

The only time he had a competent head coach was the 4 years they had Jim Caldwell. In those 4 years, they were 36-28 (won 11, 7, 9, and 9 games) and made the playoffs twice. The Ford family got rid of Caldwell mainly because they thought they needed a "motivator" to get more out of the talent. Caldwell did look like he was half asleep during games, but he quietly demanded accountability and he was the best Lions coach of this century.

Joe Barry is exactly the kind of coach the Ford family would hire.

Really liked what I saw from Stokes and it's going to be difficult to remove Runyan from the starting lineup.

Not sure why this coaching staff is so determined to ride or die with Lucas Patrick and Kevin King. Iโ€™m sure theyโ€™re good dudes, probably practice really well and are solid in meetings, but we have a body of work that shows their ceiling. Not saying Runyan and Stokes are perfect, but I donโ€™t think weโ€™ve seen the best they can offer yet and they will only improve with experience.

Depending on how Runyan grades out, Patrick's days as a starter may be over. When asked about why Patrick didn't start MLF replied "he didn't practice all week" and went on to say that the starting position was continually being competed for. Not a ringing endorsement of Patrick.

This strategy needs to Include 20 94 95 52 - I am pretty near jumping off the 52 bandwagon - we needed that guy and he was nowhere to be found. Feel good about 21.  Not sure about the slot with 20 in there but 23 looked good there
