I don’t see this. Good defenses aren’t made of 11 pro bowlers. It’s all attitude and effort. Not sure why this group of guys cant amp it up.

I'd like to see Gute find a way to get Whitney Mercilus from the Texans. They're in trade mode and he should be reasonably priced. Josh Allen from Jacksonville would be the dream, but they're not giving up a young, defensive cornerstone.

Agree, but at least decent players are required. Our LBs are useless and wont make any other team. We have only one corner as King is a disaster waiting to happen or happens regularly as he make Buckley look like a pro; Buckley was at least great in college.

Hindsight is 20/20, but the leadership they could have gotten from JJ Watt, not to mention the talent, would have paid dividends. Need leaders, defense looks rudderless.
