Great win and the Packers are in control of the top seed. Pretty typical Ford Field game- much more difficult than it had to be.

We don't have the number one seed with 3 games to go. It's great to win the division but something has to click with this defense and now ST is a double car crash on rye topped with Indian food baby diaper at low tide.

2 incompetent coaches, an incompetent GM and an incompetent President and MLF and Rodgers are still winning. Cant imagine how potent this regime would be with just average people in the front office.
So our defense gave up 293 yards in total offense today ....only two defenses in the league average less....and the Lions offense averages 358 yards per game. With the personel we have on defense people really expect more?

Why it's almost like yards allowed (or gained) are not really significant statistics!
Packer penalties kept the Lions drives aalive. Ma0e the the game closer than it shoiuld have been.

It's become a pretty routine thing that this Pettine defense gives up 7 as soon as they step on the field. And the Loins and Stafford have started fast against GB a few games in a row now. 7-0 wasn't ideal but it also wasn't unexpected. For whatever reason, Ford Field for the Pack just requires being the better team for 60. They did that today in awkward and ugly fashion. Any division win ends up being a good thing. By hook or by crook, someone on this Packer team knows how to win games.

Better extend Pettine.
The defense played well enough to win today. The special teams have to get better and that may require them to use some more starters on those defensive return units.
In the end, if they lose in the playoffs they are going to regret not doing anything to add personnel from the draft that could contribute this year. As Henry and others have said, Jordan Love and AJ Dillon better up being an All-Pros for this past off-season to be labeled anything other than a failure.
