No, you are correct, which is why a 1 loss Mich out of the B1G east is better than a 2 loss Penn St. Even if Penn St wins their final 2 they likely don't get near enough to the top 5 or 6 in the CFP rankings to help WIS as the B1G title foe. 

Mich beats Ohio St and OSU would have 2 losses. Penn St already has 2 losses (1 in conf).

I still say WI isn't getting enough respect for only losing to the, as of today, #2 and #4 teams in the country. Both by just a TD, one on the road and the other in OT. In the middle of the toughest NCAA schedule that anybody has faced in years.

MI just lost to an unranked team. So did Clemson....at home. C'mon man.

The Big Ten is a tough conference. If WI wins it, even over Penn St, they have to be in the playoff. F Louisville. Who have they played?
