Many of the old timers will say when the Braves traded Lew Burdette.  He went 3 - 0 with 3 complete games in the 1957 World Series and went 1 - 2 in the 1958 World Series. He also hit a homer in the '58 Series.   Braves traded him to the Cards in 1963.

I remember when the entire team was "traded", to Atlanta in 1966. I remember Braves fans crying " Don't take my Mattress!", a name fans lovingly gave Eddie Mathews. News outlets said the move to Atlanta, in 1966, was due to declining attendance. The owners also had wanted to move the team in 1964, for the same reasons, but the lease with Milwaukee County Stadium did not expire until after the 1965 season. A bunch of Chicago businessmen supposedly, were the Braves owners, back then. That figures.

So far it looks like and I hope the Packers are building a locker room that is much like the Brewers have done.  A bunch of young who all get along and don't have any fear about their future job status.

I didn't even get butthurt when Rodgers left.

AAMOF, if you remember....I wanted him gone to start 2022. Wasted season

Reggie retiring/leaving may have affected me more.  Not butthurt but just the loss.  To me, after losing SB32, that signaled the end of the SB run for that team.

I'm sorry I don't understand why everybody feels the need to record their Tik Tok videos in their car.

It's the concept of time is money. The sooner a video posts, the sooner people can click on it. The sooner people can click on it, the more clicks you get. The more clicks you get, the more money you can make. Who has time to wait until they get home?

Others have mentioned it, but as beloved as Aaron Jones was in Green Bay, Gutey's signing of Jacobs has improved the RB position.

Jones was never a 20+ touches guy and he is unlikely to become one as he hits age 30 this season.

Meanwhile, Jacobs seems to get better the more he touches the ball and he is extremely durable.

Great game by #8 and a great signing by Gutey.

My only minor concern with Jacobs was ball security.

Just continue focusing on hanging onto the football. Hafley makes it an emphasis point every week with the ball meeting and that includes the offense. Lotsa takeaways, no giveaways.

Excellent coaching!

Oh great, so now we might lose him to another team as an offensive coordinator OR a head coach???

Durability and availability are often more important than athletic ability.

If you had to win one game and you were guaranteed that both guys were 100% healthy, Jones is the choice. He's much more dynamic in the passing game and it opened up even more opportunities for MLFs schemes.

However, MLF always had to balance wanting to use Jones as much as possible to maximize winning that game versus leaning on him too much and having him a game time decision for the next month.

Baller! Love it. And he's younger than 33. What agreat free agent off-season for Gutey. Now go get some more defensive help before the deadline.  I don't want to see the competition get all the toys.
