Mid point of the season, Aaron Rodgers has to be the NFL MVP right now.

There's a lot of football left this year, but what Rodgers is doing with both starting WRs out plus both starting backs (Kuhn, Benson) out is MVP worthy. Certainly in the first 3 weeks of the year, Rodgers was not playing at an MVP level, but both he and the team have stepped it up since that time. At worst, he's worthy of being in the discussion now and you can make an excellent case for him to repeat if he keeps up what he's done the past 6 weeks.

They had the record but I thought they had too many weaknesses to get them to the SB. They are more complete this year. They'll be in the news even more creating more votes for Ryan.

Someone made the point of Rodgers and Manning being past winners. That certainly will help them this year. When Bert won his 3rd MVP I really thought Sanders had the better year, but they shared the MVP. I thought the voters were pretty generous to Favre that year.

Honestly, right now, Andrew Luck or Aaron Rodgers. Throw Charles Tillman into the mix as well.

Luck has the h2h win. Colts won 1 game last year and they're right in the thick of the playoff race, all while their coach has missed most of the season.

He's not going to win it. But is anyone doing more with less than Adrian Peterson? How in the world is a guy coming off major knee surgery 40 yards short of 1,000 yards after 9 games playing with a craptastic QB like Ponder?

I thought about AP too. But I think team record is going to hurt for MVP. After a good start the Vikings schedule in the second half is going to make them a .500 team. Maybe a little better.

He'll definitely get votes for comeback player, but I think that is Manning's to lose right now.
