Can anyone think of another win that was more fulfilling on all levels? Dominance in all 3 phases, huge win on the road, beat Favre, embarrass the Vikings, etc...

This one is certainly up there. I remember in 2001 when the Packers played the Ravens at Lambeau I felt like this too. However, this game, vs. a rival and it's the 2nd time playing them this year probably putting the final nail in the coffin? Yeah, this one is certainly top 5 if not top 3.
Baltimore game when they were the champs was better as was beating Dallas last year. They righted a mess last year with that Dallas win. This was a dominating win but Minnesota has been playing like crap all year. If they had a winning record it would have been more satisfying. This was more a 'taking care of business game' imo.
historic game. farewell game to favre made him look like a chump.

i also think this game is going to set vikings down a road for years of mediocrity. unless they get lucky in the draft with a franchise QB they will be fighting lions for bottom of the nfc north.
I've felt better after other wins we've had over the past decade, but this was a great win. I expected the Packers to win by a comfortable margin today, and the Queens just suck ass. If the Queens were a real football team, the answer would be easy.
I just feel with the Favre back story, crushing a division rival in their house, ending any playoff hopes they had, etc. factors beyond the game itself, makes this one so satisfying. Seattle Snow Bowl playoff game is up there too...
Thank you Ted Thompson.

You are the man for sticking up for what you thought was right and not letting Favre hold the team hostege. Now the Vikes have sold their future on Allen (2 first round draft picks), Favre, and a third rounder for Moss. They have no future QB, and fewer draft picks to do anything. And one more season on a lease that is due to run out.

Meanwhile, we have a young, successful team with the longest waiting list for tickets in all of sports and plans to build around Lambeau field in the future.

Yes, this was a sweet win. Nice to see it. Nice to experience it. Nice to remember it for a long while.

haha. Nice try, but I didn't write that...
Whoever "Andy Tisdale" is, needs to go back and watch some of the Greta interviews or any of his crap he pulled in 2008.

Yes, I have a very good memory and unless I lose it, I don't want him anywhere near the Green & Gold. He trashed us (the fans) and the organization. I couldn't be prouder of how our front office has consistently taken the high road when it comes to Favre. However, I as a fan will NOT be taking the high road. He lost his Green & Gold privileges when he put himself above the team.

End of story!

I happen to agree with you, Boris. But I don't censor opposing opinions. Everyone has a right to think what they want...
Most of us on this forum will never forgive Brett Favre for what he tried to do to our team, but you have to be crazy to think that 90% of Packer fans will not have forgotten all about this in a decade.

Nope. You just published it.

Kinda like when you published Andy's defense of Favre from mean ole Deadspin for publishing something negative (and factual) about Favre.

I don't censor opposing opinions opinions I agree with 100%, but pretend not too, because it could pull traffic away from my blog. Everyone has a right to think what they want...

FTFY.

So I should only publish what you agree with? OK. I'll get right on that.
When the front office in Green Bay said they wanted to preserve Favre's legacy & Favre said, " I appreciate that, but I'll handle it..."

Well Mr. Favre, We've seen what you can handle. You took your legacy and wiped your ass with it. Congtrats! Enjoy your retirement.

Have no problem publishing it. in this country, freedom of expression is allowed. But that doesn't make it my opinion.

You don't know ****, Yuck. About what i think or about blogs, not that it matters. Make up whatever garbage you want. there are plenty of lemmings that will believe you and you'll be happy.

Amazing how many cheerful people are in here just wanting to talk about the Packers game. Yeah, right.

This is one of the most satisfying....because it is so satisfying on so many different levels....but it is not a significant win.....hey, the Pack just beat a 3-6 team with an over the hill quarterback, a disfuncional coach and tons of infighting. That really doesn't sound all that impressive.

(Until you add that the team is the Vikings, the qb is Favre and that the coach is Kick Arse Childress himself)

Personally I think the most truly satisfying victory over the last decade was the win of Seattle in the playoffs after falling behind 14-0. Its just that the game after it might be the most disappointing of all time
Necessary? No. But it is part of the deal. If you publish, you are responsible for what appears. That means you get to deal with reactions positive and negative, and no, you don't get to complain about it. From what I've seen, there are good posts and breakdowns on that site, and there are some posts that suck, and not because I disagree with them. Some of the best articles I've read in life in general are those with which I don't agree. You can't have it both ways, especially when you promote your site on another one where opinions are the point of the whole presence.
Yuck, it's people like you that give forums a bad name. People who think they can make up whatever they want and present it as fact. I guess you have some axe to grind. So be it. I think I know me better than you... Have a happy life!

Al, I know you as well as I want too....and am pretty sure I have you pegged. I have no axe to grind, but I think you should head over to PC's or some other site where the sheeple will believe whatever you tell em'.

Don't need civics lesson from you, I spent 20 years protecting your right to publish whatever garbage you want to.
After coming into the MetroDump and shutting down the Queens and SLB, it was still all about Brext. That's okay. Let BSPN and the other sycophants in the national sports media circle the drain with that corn-laden turd. Scoreboard trumps all.
