Bob Uecker…Al Jarreau ( One night 40 years ago while listening to one of his albums me and a friend looked up his name in the Milwaukee phone book…got his Mom and had a lovely chat…true story.)

I did freshman year there in ‘74-‘75..but decided I like girls and transferred. 😀
I was there '72 to '76. It became Milwaukee Technical High almost as soon as I got there. But talk about a dominant football program, right? Used to laugh at South Division and Pulaski. Easy pickins every year.

I remember finding out Golda Meier was a Milwaukee native at my son’s UWM orientation. I was shocked. Didn’t even know she was American.

Once a Trojan, always a Trojan.. thank you for giving me all the fun! I went to Tech because I was star struck at Kosciusko. You guys were rock stars! I seem to remember the team playing right off of my Jr High on Becher St.

I went to college with Tony Kubek's daughter in Waukesha. She was on the same floor as my future wife. I knew who he was, but I remember how excited by father and future father-in-law were when they saw him at graduation. I think they were more excited about that than the fact we were graduating.

Too cool. Also, my football career was just a place holder for soccer…Frosh football wasn’t as glamorous as you might have thought 😀 I just remembered…we brought our tee shirts and socks home ONCE A WEEK to launder..I must have been quite the hit on the city bus back to the Eastside.

If we’re talking old Milwaukee Tech grads, anyone remember RB Keombani Coleman from class of 1988? He ended up playing one season with Holmgren/Favre/Reggie in 1993 as a reserve LB for the Packers. Shortened his name to Keo Coleman for the NFL I believe.
I didn’t play high school football but some of the guys I knew back in those days played against Keo and he just was incredibly dominant at the high school level.

It's also funny how when Bryant knew the crap was hitting the fan the tone of his messages changed dramatically while Favre didn't seemingly pick up on that at all. When your co-conspirator suddenbly goes full CYA mode, maybe take that as a hint.

There was a long, gaudy, windowless pink hallway that got you from one end of the school to the other, like a freeway.

Classic example of a guy that used his power and celebrity to corrupt and influence others to get what he wanted. If the story is true the dude needs to go to jail.
But he won’t. He’s lived a charmed life despite making a lot of horrible choices and being surrounded by a bunch of idiots and like minded people with bad intentions.
