I think they're more like chartreuse and taupe. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Some of the bright (neon?) greens are still pretty hard to read, like the Forums/Sports Forums.... links to the left as I post this reply.
The black fonts and backgrounds are already making things much easier to read.
