Wonder if we could get Raji out of retirement just for one game if we play Chicago in the playoffs. He did say he was only taking a break, not walking away entirely.
Hopefully Poutine throws caution to the wind and throws Snacks out there into the fray right away. Dude is a veteran...I don't care if he doesn't know the entire defensive playbook, just line him up and let him be a disruptive force unlike Lancaster and Lowery. Let him Ho Green that shit all day long.
I don't think he is eligible to play this weekend based on new players having to go through Covid protocol?
At his presser today MLF just said that Snacks “is in the building”, will practice today and would be eligible to play this weekend. Called him “a big-time pick-up”. He sounds pretty fired up about what Harrison could bring to the team.
Surprised he can play this weekend, that's great to hear.
LaFleur said that NT Damon "Snacks" Harrison is in the building, will be a practice and there's a chance he will play Sunday against the #Bears.

When did they pick up Snacks??

At KwikTrip yesterday for their New Years Eve party.
RE: playing this weekend. IIRC, the league relaxed the transition process recently since the number of positive tests had gone down, or something.
**edit**
From Twitter:
Snacks Harrison is practicing today for the #Packers and wearing No. 98.
Hey, did you guys hear the packers picked up Snacks Harrison?

Any why isn't there a topic for it?
"I think our defensive line is playing at a really high level," Clark notes. "Then we get an addition like this ... it's good. It's only going to make our room better."

Not a surprise that Kenny Clark likes the move.
If the Packers picked up Snacks, and no one was around to hear it...

...a tree would fall.
A bear would poop.
But is the pope Catholic?
This is rent-a-vet situation for playoffs. Dude wants a ring so he will be focused. Rotate him in on 1st down and 3rd and short to stuff the run. That's all we need out of him. We got pass rushers. Good move Gute.

LOL, Beat da Bears and they wont be in playoffs.
If The Rams lose they will.
May he become Gilbert Brown if only for a while.
I can dig it.
I'm sure Snacks was regularly tested with the Hags. There is no reason he should have to sit for the Packers.
Can he play LT?
Special teams.
If the Packers end up signing Snacks off waivers, will he be able to play Sunday?

Can't tell if you're being serious or not. Start at this post.
Happy New Year!
So Harrison was deactivated two weeks after this? Gotta be more to the story
I've heard that Snacks wanted out of Seattle because he wasn't getting enough playing time behind Seattle's two, younger DL guys. He will be fine in GB. He's coming here at just the right time for our Defense.
Which would make sense. You don’t sign on with a team to ride pine when you’re pondering if you should play in the first place because of COVID. He made the commitment to play.
Honestly, if this is true then it bodes well. The guy wants to play, not collect a check.

The Packers have been horrific inside the 5. And if part of your D scheme is “bend but don’t break”, you need guys that don’t break. In a close game in January, a FG instead of a TD could determine the winner of the game. Just ask the ghosts of 2014...

The play of Ford and Reed along with Mone returning after being out 6 weeks make Snacks the odd man out.
Exactly. Snacks even said via tweet he "didn't want to take snaps away from a young guy that deserves them."
He just wants to play....he's going to get that opportunity with the Packers.
Snaps or snacks?
He probably won't have time to learn it but what a sight it would be to see Snacks at fullback and Dillon at halfback. BOOM!!!!
