Eli has been below average this season. In their 3 wins he has a 77(ish) QB rating with 2 TDs and 1 Int, completing ~ 60% of his throws.

Until their 3 game win streak the D was less than stellar.

They can be run on and McCarthy needs to do that to help the Packers defense.

I just want the team to look better.

No more defense getting pushed around for 9:00 drives.

No more Jerrett Bush getting block in the back penalties making our 3rd string QB start drives at the 6 yard line.

No more Crosby hitting the fricking upright. No kicker has ever hit the goalpost more times than Mason Crosby, I'd be willing to bet on it.

MM and the offense need to find a way to finish drives. No more FGs after every 1st and goal situation.

Yea, the OL could be a real mess if EDS and Barclay cant play. Then your looking at Sherrod and Taylor, with Lang at Center. Are there even any more backups on the team at OL? We might even be reduced to having some DL guys playing on the OL if EDS and Barclay cant go, and we have another injury there, without picking up someone off the street or PS help this week. If we need to get in new OL reinforcements, who gets cut or goes on IR?

Andre Brown is a big boost for them.  Victor Cruz is one of the smoothest catching WRs in the game.  S Antrel Rolle is having a great year, too.  JPP said he felt all the way back finally a week ago.

DBs need to be ready to catch the ball this week.  Just like with Brett they should know they're going to have opportunities this week.  Eli has made some brutal throws this year.

Have to be concerned with the size of Randle and Nicks.  We've had a bunch of trouble in the past with the big guys.

Tolzien has a weird release.  Ball seems to come out pretty flat.  May have just been a footwork issue but to me it seems it comes out fast but without much arc on it.  Seems to have the right mentality. John Madden was talking about him the other day.  He pays a good deal of attention to the 9ers and Raiders.  Said he was suprised Tolzien was let go.  Heard good things from inside the 9ers organization about the guy.

Best twitter follow for the Giants, imo, is Paul Dottino .  Knows the roster in and out and is interactive with the fans.  He's been covering the Giants since the 80's.  Definitely more of a homer, but he tends to have the best stuff on radio interviews.    More like a Dunne or Hodkiewicz than a Wilde.

Is this game considered a must W?  IMO, it is.  If we win this game, at the worst we would be 6-6 after the Lions game.  If we lose this game, we could be 5-7, with 4 to go, not looking good.  Even with our injuries, we have the talent to win this game, D needs to play well, and let Tolzein and JJ, JN and EL make some plays.

After back to back uninspiring performances I'm glad this team is hitting the road. Change of scenery might do them some good.

Giants are a bad team this year. They've strung a few ugly wins together. It's a battle of who makes the fewest bad plays.

Nothing I'd love to see more than GB's MASH unit sticking a fork in NY's season.

MM in rare form today. Asked to comment on AR stepping up to help Tolzien. He said things along the lines of great player, great teammate, loves to win, trying to get Scott ready by talking from a QB perspective..... he caught himself going on and on about AR and said "I know you all think I say too many positive things about Aaron so I'll say something negative. I don't like his mustache"

Asked about having Worthy back. "Great to see him on the field. He had two good pass rushes and he jumped offsides twice, so we knew he's back"

Packers.com dope sheet

Thanks for the update.  I wasn't aware this is a flex game, and the schedule on my wall still states it's the Sunday night game.  Same with the Falcons game, but that will probably be flexed as well.  I'll have to re-print the schedule.
