I agree with you about being scared of the Bolts.  I think one of our safeties or CB/S hybrids (the racist for example) can minimize the effect of Gates.  Put an LB on Gates and they will score on every series.  Joe Thomas is relatively fast, but no match for Gates.

It's nice to see an NFL team actually go for a win instead of settling for overtime. There was a stat a few weeks ago, Bell converts 1 yard runs like 75% of the time. 

Those are much better odds than settling for overtime.
