The guy who supposedly has no comeback V's and the guy who came back and created a schit storm give the comeback award?

How long has the backbreaker needed glasses? 2003?

I agree 100%. Not so much as signing with Minnesota, but that summer of "I'm coming back after I chose to retire". Sooooo glad at the time (and I think it was the right decision ) that they stuck with Rodgers.

He called the Lions to help them figure out how to beat the Packers in 2008. Every time I start to feel like maybe I want to forgive him, I remember this. To me, that's far worse than going to play for the Minnesota Vikings.

The worst thing about it is that they were going to take him back in the spring just before the draft, a couple months after that teary press conference at Lambeau. And then the day before he was supposed to fly up to Green Bay for the press conference for the announcement, he called the team and told them he changed his mind. He and his ballwashers never touched that embarrassing fact whenever they tried to trash the Packers for not taking him back in August of 2008.

I haven't seen BF since he retired. What strikes me is how freakin OLD he looks.

He's a grandfather, and I would imagine getting beat up for almost 20 years in the NFL will shorten whatever lifespan he would have had if he had a less taxing career. It wouldn't shock me if he's got less than 20 years left on this earth with how he treated his body before age 30.

That picture of brint is the dagger that he was using HGH during his playing days. The guy aged literally 10 years in an actual 2 year span.

Seeing them on stage together like that, I can't help thinking of the movie, Looper.

Bert started showing his age the last couple or three years he was in Green Bay. He was really gray in the temples, and his stubble/beard was mostly white.

Brent is still an assclown and I don't care what he did for the Packers. His antics toward the end of his career won't be forgotten.

Leave it to Manning to steal the scene with "I hope Andrew Luck and I can do this in a couple of years..." I thought that really broke the ice.....never really cared for Peyton, but have learned to enjoy him more lately.....that was very funny.

Strange and awkward and two very good ways to describe this, and it is probably a baby step to bring Brent back into the fold. I can't say I am all that excited about this, but it will eventually happen. That said, Brent thought he was bigger than both the Team and the Game - that will forever taint his "legend". And besides, this moment will never get old:

I was not sure what to expect. But after watching and thinking about i. I agree with earlier post its a small step to having Brett back in the Packer family.

I loved Brett when he played he was the most entertaining qb of his time.
I hated how he acted when he left, and the Viking deal was a a bitter pill, but I feel its time to welcome him back.

I stopped coming here because of the Favre bitterness.

I know some will never forgive or forget and that there is nothing I can say that will convince anybody. Still, life is short. The particulars can and either have or will move on. I hope the fans that haven't will one day, too.

That video defines the career of TOG to those that are fans of the team instead of fans of an individual player. I'm glad the rubes in MN got a dose this medicine too.

Favre on NFL network now with Mooch. Pretty good so far.
