NFL teams can designate the "Franchise" and "Transition" tags beginning February 18. The deadline to use these designations is March 4. Not a factor for the Packers.
The NFL League Year starts on March 12.
"Legal Tampering" for signing begins two days earlier on March 10 at 11 am Lambeau Field Time.

Yeah, the issue is Lawrence in a city/team that’s an unholy mix of Cleveland and Florida.
Plus, the $203 million cap hit would be impossible with a $272 million cap.

Same here in Colorado (I don’t imbibe) , I have a funny story tho. When I get guests from Wisconsin they usually want to check out the stores. It is quite the process to get in and order, 2 ID checks to start and then because of the many strains, potencies and effects of todays weed the clerk asks the purchaser what he or she is looking for. My friend not knowing this was unprepared to answer, so, when asked “ are you buying this for pain relief, or to help you sleep or to enhance sex or be more creative”. He replied, I like to watch hockey.
The clerk recommended something appropriate, he bought it and will be watching tonite. With a buzz.
