For those that have relied on that option in the past , can I reasonably expect to get decent, non-virus laden streams?

I've watched Packers games that aren't available on broadcast TV via streaming for at least the last 3 years. The ONLY problems I've experienced is lag (sometimes as much as 1-2 minutes behind the live feed) and streams crapping out on occasion.
I know Henry has railed on the sites that aren't secure, and you have to navigate through some spam-ish BS on others before you get to the actual stream, but they are relatively minor inconveniences IMO. I've never had a problem with viruses/hacks/attacks (knock wood!).
There are members who are MUCH more tech-savvy than I am that can offer better advice I'm sure, but I can't imagine you having any particular problems.

Just on principle after paying Direct TV all these years, unless they comp it (tried again via phone yesterday) I’m gonna look to the World Wide Web to view the non-National Packer games this year. I’ll buy whatever streaming is available next year. For those that have relied on that option in the past , can I reasonably expect to get decent, non-virus laden streams?

Not sure if you've already tried this, but when I talk to the robot who screens the calls, I say "cancel service" as the reason for my call.  That takes you to the retention department.  When you get a live operator, tell them you want to cancel DirecTV because it's too expensive.  They'll get you on their latest promotion and for the last couple of years, that's included free Sunday Ticket.  You have to sign up for a year, and then play their stupid game again the following year.  Sucks to have to do that, especially as a long-time customer, but it's the way it is.

I'd rather be able to pick which games to stream and pay for them that way.  Depending on the price, of course.

Funny, Both my son got it free the last 2 years, without having to beg.  Before that I had to threaten to cancel in order to get a sweeter deal, usually about half price.  I will wait till the last few days before the season starts before I start the process again.  I do doubt that any deals will be made this year cause this year looks to be the last.  Perhaps if I tell them that I will be canceling Direct TV as well as the Ticket…..h’mmmm

That is key. As someone said above, the Retention department has a lot more to offer than just calling anyone at the company.

I live in SC and spend long vacations in Canada. I have family members who follow Panthers, Bills and of course Packers. I like the Sunday Ticket. When the Packers are not on I watch the Red Zone and/or flip between other games. Sometimes just to root against the competition.  Red Zone was perfect for that until I went to Canada. Then I had to use the radio seris  XM and my iPad for down and distance. I understand that there are restrictions about streaming in another country so that worries me.

Since WTMJ is not going to be the Packers Radio Network flagship station, will we still be able to listen to Wayne and Larry?

Google is a great tool.

As the Packers have produced the gameday radio broadcasts and managed the Packers Radio Network in-house since 2018, fans will not notice any changes to the game broadcasts themselves, with Wayne Larrivee and Larry McCarren remaining on the call for their 24th season of broadcasts together.

Can we do stonings instead?

1 but Jesus went to the Mount of Olives.

2 At dawn he appeared again in the temple courts, where all the people gathered around him, and he sat down to teach them. 3 The teachers of the law and the Pharisees brought in a woman caught in adultery. They made her stand before the group 4 and said to Jesus, β€œTeacher, this woman was caught in the act of adultery. 5 In the Law Moses commanded us to stone such women. Now what do you say?” 6 They were using this question as a trap, in order to have a basis for accusing him.

But Jesus bent down and started to write on the ground with his finger. 7 When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, β€œLet any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”

Suddenly, a stone came from the crowd, striking the adulteress dead.  Jesus looked up from the ground and said with a very exasperated tone, Mother....
