....because it's football.

...because Holiday Inn Express, The Villages, FL has glorious HD----(I lie, the tv sucks and no HD)

...because as I get old(er), I did look around The Villages today and think, "I could do this"

...because I was looking forward to JJ Watt yelling to Luck, "You ain't Kaepernick, bro"

Thought hard all day and this was my thread title until the Hasselbeck start:

"Luck Be Afraidy Tonight."

I hope Washington and USC ends up being a good game. After trying to watch that dog pile of a game on Monday night I don't think I can take much more of this. Man there have been a lot of terrible games in the NFL so far this year.

I actually wish they would get rid of these Thurs. night games. Just about every one of them has been complete crap ever since they started this. I don't think 4 days is enough time for these guys to recover physically or for the coaching staffs to plan for the next game properly.

The Colts and Texans... When an injured, 90 yr. old Matt Hasselbeck starts lighting you up it's time to throw in the towel.

Chilli...

Can't agree more about Simms. Listening to him babble over the top of a bad football game to begin with is too much. Dude annoys the heck out of me.

Where I grew up we rarely ever got to see the Packers on T.V.. Luckily I was close enough to get the broadcasts out of Wisconsin. I'm pretty sure I've listened to far more baseball and football games on the radio during my life than I've ever sat down to watch in their entirety on T.V..

How bad does this have to get for someone at NFL HQ to pull their collective heads out of their asses and realize these refs have no idea what they are doing.

NFL refs suck.

Once again, I'll say the errors made by referees are 99% mental.
They still are in perfect position to make a call, then crap down their leg. Their brain gets the 'deer-in-headlights' syndrome and freezes.

Grow some and do the right thing, NFL refs! It's called INTEGRITY. Look it up before you open the rule book.
