Ryan Mallett hanging his head in disgust after Hoyers pick like he could have been the difference. A 6'6" cancer cell with pads. I'd cut his ass in 5 seconds.

Houston is a mess. And it starts with O'Brien. That dick interviewed with Cleveland and Philly in 2013. When he figured out he wasn't getting either gig he waved the Nittany Lion flag and said he was no one and done guy after the Paterno mess. Turns out he was actually a two and done guy when he jumped ship a year later for Houston.

His head coaching career is pretty much over with.

JJ Watt drew two penalties on the offense tonight.  Aside from that he was a non factor.

you had to have seen, even the announcers pointing out, that he was double teamed all night, ALL NIGHT.  nobody's great enough to overcome that in the NFL.  these two teams are very familiar with each other.

and I agree CJ on Mallett - I'd cut his ass in 5 seconds too for the exact same reason.  all he did was pout once he didn't go back in.  agree on O'Brien too.  when all you can do is stand on the sidelines repeating "why did you do that?" you're not getting through to your guys.

that was some lousy football all around and then you throw in the clueless zebras...

Regarding Watt, I think this game shows why a defensive player can't be an MVP of the league.  This is no slam on Watt; I think he's the best defensive player the league has seen in over a decade and probably the best overall defensive lineman since Reggie White.  But you can take him out of the game, just like happened last night.  You can't take a QB out of the game.  The whole "Watt over Rodgers" 2014 MVP discussion was just so ridiculous.

I feel for Bill O'Brien.  Maybe it's because I watched Hard Knocks and liked him, but his team plays so stupid.  And that game ending pick was as bad an interception as you'll ever see.

That's my point Tdog, any player at any position can be taken away, with the exception of QB.

The rest of the quote was: 'He is good, but he is not close to being the best player in the NFL', i.e. not a QB.

That three-man rush was weird last night. It allowed doubles on Watt and Clowney (and usually a chip on Watt to boot). When you have a backup QB who was praying to the porcelain goddess with an IV drip earlier in the day, I don't understand why you don't bring more pressure. The Texans allowed Indy to neutralize Watt & Clowney way too easily.

Not so sure about this statement. Didn't the Packers take out Kaperdink the last game? He had a terrible game running and as such affected his passing.  in certain situations I think the RO QBs can be taken out of a game.

The part I noticed on Hard Knocks is that there aren't a lot of leaders on that Texans team.  On top of that I didn't see a lot of energy and enthusiasm except for Watt and Cushing.   The rest of that team doesn't seem like they are dialed in and focused (and committed) and I think that leads to sloppy play on the field.

That and they have NO quarterback.  Mallett has a million dollar arm and a 10 cent head.  Hoyer has great work ethic but just is not very talented and makes some bad decisions.

Houston is a complete mess
