1. Saturday's slow start was about the fumbles. I don't see that as something that is going to keep happening.
2. Northwestern was having some success moving the ball with that option to our left, but overall I'm not worried about the D.
3. Agree they will go as far as Hornibrook takes them. I see that as a positive not a negative. Last week wasn't a fluke. He gets Fumagalli back, he'll be fine.
4. Agree about Shaw.
Northwestern always seems to gameplan this team very well. Hard to believe they have basically split the last 25 games or so as good as UW has been over that stretch but I was impressed with the intensity and toughness of the Cats. That is a well coached team and they were very well prepared for Wisconsin.
Speaking of Fitzgerald, I'm not sure if he would leave NW but if LSU or Tennessee came calling how could you turn them down?
