Starting with McCarthy Monday presser, wrap-up the DET win.

@WesHod
MM: Casey Hayward was extremely productive. Maybe his best performance of the season. M.D. Jennings, thought he graded out well.

@WesHod
MM: Defensively, we graded out very well. Strength of our performance yesterday. AJ Hawk/Ryan Pickett got game balls on defense

@TyDunne
MM on MDJ play: Been fun to see M.D. get better and better. Broke a tackle. Reaction of rest of D to get ahead of him. Great finish.

‏@TyDunne
MM on OL: Give credit to their defense. Felt it'd be a hard day. That surface, that crowd noise a challenge.

@TyDunne
MM: Thought the quarterback was exceptional. You think of big plays, spirals with QB. But game like that is hard. True sign of a tough QB

‏@TyDunne
MM on game he called: A few too many calls (I didn't like). Didn't adjust to things we should have. Would have gone in a different direction

@TyDunne
MM: Division wins are special, especially on the road, in November. Gives you confidence. ...Knew it'd be tough sledding.

‏@TyDunne
MM on Crosby: Was here today. Him and Slocum went through # of things. Have confidence in plan moving forward.

@TyDunne
MM: Mason an extreme fundamentalist. Mason Crosby is our kicker so we can just stop it right there.

A couple of Giants comments:

@TyDunne
MM on players being asked about NYG loss last year: Game will be part of cut-ups. Have a history with Giants. Part of preparation.

@TyDunne
MM: Game last year was painful but it's something we have to deal with. It's part of our preparation process. Can't change it now.

@TyDunne
MM: Like the character make-up of our football team. Like our experience and our young guys. Being a leader starts first day you get here.

@TyDunne
MM on the 'stache: Mustache is for the recognition of prostate cancer. I'm looking forward to (midnight) November 31st.
After a bit of studying, I hate to say it, but it may be best for Chitgago to win tonight.
A win by the Niners keeps them 1/2 game ahead of us on conference and overall record, with the H2H advantage. On the flip side a loss puts them that 1/2 game behind us.
A win by the Bores keeps the 1 game ahead of us on overall record, but we already own a H2H over them, plus the one remaining game against them.
I'd rather have the advantage over the Niners.

Either way, bottom line is that the Packers need to keep winning and keep control of their own destiny.

If it wasn't for Seattle we would be talking about playing for Home Field vs Atlanta. SCABS!!
Interesting numbers going into this game:

Now 7-3 and on a five-game winning streak, the Packers rank 10th in the NFL in scoring defense, tied for sixth in interceptions and second in sacks. During the streak, they have held opponents to 19 points per game and 24 points total in the fourth quarter.

Without Woodson, Bishop, Shields, DJ Smith, and Matthews (at least for one game) Capers has to be pretty pleased with those numbers.
