We have had our fair share of games where calls did not go our way. Today we got lucky on both those INT's.
So, now you're questioning the past head of officiating?

yeah I saw the #93 really hustling out there, solid play.
the only - would be some horrible dropsies by the WR but maybe the wind had something to do with it as NYJ had worse drops than we did
also agree on Peprah,Bishop, Masthay and Green
we did NOT get lucky on the second one...the WR didn't have control as the ball was still moving...the ball did NOT touch the ground, instead, Woody snagged it as it was being bobbled around....
THAT...was a good call...I'm surprised they got it right in the first place.

The game was won because we stopped their running game. Everyone knew that's what they would do, they tried it, Dom and Co. stopped it.

The Packers kept their cool, played mistake free football and did enough to win verses an excellent team in their building.

Every other "measurable" (except the score, of course) went the Jets way.

Yes, he did. He said something to the effect of 'You've got to give credit to the Packers. That's a good football team. They were the better team today'

- Our guys took Rex Ryan's team down a peg
These last two wins have taken away a bit of the pain from the three 3pt losses
Capers knows how to get things done in this league, I can't stop laughing over the dumbasses who said our defense would be worse this year.

- Too many dropped passes and misses, but they said the gameplan was to ignore completion % and play it safe. Still don't like seeing it.

Wrong. The rules states control to the ground because the ground was part of the catch(No football move). If the ball comes out and hits the ground, what is the rule? And what about Nelson getting tackled what would've gave the Packers a 1st down inside the Jets 40? And the Packers forced a couple other fumbles along with dropped at least two other ints(Bishop,Woodson).
Overall the refs were solid today. The Williams int was questionable, but that was third down anyway so the Packers would have gotten the ball back. The Woodson int was a great play, as usual. Only call i didn't like was the illegal contact that was waved off. Still don't understand the explanation on that one.
I like watching games with few flags. The game just flows better.

Agreed. I thought they god lucky on the first one, but the second one reminded me of the Antonio Freeman MNF game ("He did what?), in that the WR didn't have control of the ball, but it never hit the ground.
How about alittle Love for C.J.Wilson?
He may turn out to be the steal of the draft that fell into TT's lap.
After GB aquired the three LB's this week I was alittle worried about Matthews hammy and Chillar's shoulder but I shouldnt have been.
The MIH in GB = The Beast

Weren't you the mope slapping up rankings and stats declaring why the Packers would lose?

Whipping boys unite! Colledge and Perah with good game.
The offense was slightly less crappy than the Jets'.
The Special teams were about teh same as a good Jets unit.
The defense played better than a very good Jets unit.
The team made fewer mistakes and won teh turnover/penalty battle.

Yep, and I'm pretty sure they didn't get any points off that turnover so it's just a matter of field position. Jets did squat today with good and bad field position so it's pretty dumb to call the Packers lucky based on something like this.
Brandon Jackson outrushed Tomlinson.
Garbage time rushes.
D-Line with all the injuries continues to amaze me.
Did anybody get hurt other than Rex?

Even if he hadn't, love that "W".
Dom should be sainted.
A Viking loss and the day would be perfect.

MM won a slugfest. I wouldn't have thought that before today. Skeleton crew roster, Driver goes out on top of that, playing against the latest flavor of the month in the NFL on the road, howling winds... Great win.
If only we had a running game.

Perfection indeed.
Vikings lost, great day for Packers and fans, who wudda thunk three fgs would have won against a great team like the Jets.
They ceased to be a "great team" the moment they lost to us.
If they had kicked our *ss they obviously were going to the Super Bowl behind their difference-making elite running game.

Dom's defense!
Winning this game actually felt more satisfying to me than the Vikings/Favre last week. Jets are (were? ) one of the best teams in the NFL and Packers were in command at end of game, vs trying to hang on and not lose.

I didn't like those 3 run plays with 4 or so minutes left...I know the Jets didn't have any Timeouts, but still.....I'm just sayin'
+ Ryan/Shottenheimer's offensive game plan. What to put the game in the hands of a not-to-accurate 2nd year quarterback. Sorry...but how many times did the Jets gain 5 yards on 1st down and then not convert on the next two. If the Pack could get 5 yards instead of 2 on 1st down they would have a lot better 3rd down conversion percentage.
+ Dom's defense.....the d-line held up very well.
- Rodger's just seem inaccuarate on anything more than 20 yards down field this year....or should I say the last couple games.

agree japf, but that one was on Jone's fingertips. I think his best pass was the comebacker to Jordy. Perfect timing and a perfect ball.

It's the running backs fault.
One positive not mentioned yet is that the Packers already got their game against Buffalo out of the way. Even though Buffalo is 0-7, they haven't given up yet, and should have beaten the Chiefs today. (They hit a 53-yarder in OT, except that the Chiefs' coach called timeout first.)

it seems some feel he should have taken a knee. I expect MM to have him run laps as punishment this week.
scratch that, running laps would only reinforce the behavior.
what is the opposite of running laps?
sitting prone for awhile?

i liked it. Your D is pitching a shut out.. Your QB has been inaccurate and your playing a top notch D.

WTF are you talking about?
Buffalo isn't winning, but they're not rolling over for teams the way they did against the Pack. They could have won either overtime game.
Again, what does that have to do with a win over the Jets today?
OK, it has nothing to do with the Jets, but it's still another positive. Just like it's better to get the Cowboys now when they clearly suck than, say, week one when they might still have been closer to good.
Positives:
Honestly, everyone on defense gets a + today. I just saw nothing but positives on that side of the ball that I can remember.
The punting was solid.
Negatives:
The Packers stopped that fake punt by inches, but the bad news was they were caught with their pants down (That would be you Slocum). Gotta be more ready for that sort of thing.
The other negative is, this team is playing with tons of heart and guts, but without guys like Finley, Grant, and a healthy Driver, the offense is probably going to struggle for the rest of the year as the skill guys at WR, TE, and RB that are left are just a little too ordinary to make this a potent offense.
