Perry looks like a guy trying to sort out all the responsibilities he's being asked to handle in a new position. He backed out of a rush and recognized a dump off pretty fast though.

When he simply goes for the QB you see flashes of a freak of nature. It's a lot of power wrapped around a lot of speed. He was held on one play and forced the throw away on the next.

Then again he wasn't going against Bulaga.
The article H5 posted earlier sums it up perfectly. If you have an elite QB and you build a team around him to compete for the SB every year, you are pretty much screwed if he misses an extended period of time. You might groom a backup for a year or two. But he's leaving at some point if he shows promise.

That's the simple truth of salary cap football circa 2012.
