Tie ball game 17-17
Again.....it would be the most Lion thing ever if the Lions lose this game.
If Tampa wins....Niners will be favored by -13.5
Not a TB lover by any stretch, but screw the Lions. It wouldn't bother me a bit to see them get knocked back down to reality.
Winfield Jr. clearly auditioning for the Packers’ safety job there
Detroit may have over-drafted Gibbs as a RB, but he has been huge for them as a rookie.
Collinsworth taking his knob polishing to new levels today. Not listenable
TD St Brown
Turn out the lights. This one is over.
Dumpa with the Joe Barry D
That should do it. DET looking good. Wonder what Deebo's status is.
Evans saves TB
Just making it entertaining.
Screw math. Kick the XPT.
Mike Evans is pretty good
TB going for 2. No good.
Was that DPI? Guess not.
Shut up, Collinsworth.
No idea what DPI is anymore
I don’t really believe Detroit can go to SF and win. But after watching both teams. I give the nod to SF but it wouldn’t shock me to see Detroit finally get to a SB.
And then lose to Baltimore by 30.
INT. It's over now! 1:33 left. Knee time.
Nice throw Baker
The Lions are going to get worked next week. Goff is a completely different QB indoors than outdoors and SFs defense is quite a bit better than Tampa.
Even vet QB's throw pics!
Every home team has won in the playoffs thus far (8 of 9) ... except Dallas.
How bout them Cowboys.
Detroit can run the ball. Gibbs and Montgomery are nightmare matchups for SF. Running and catching.
It’s Detroit so they could still do Detroit things to Campbell.

Mayfield's interception was on second down with no timeouts left with a blitzer bearing down on him and the Lions DB undercut the route. It was within the play design. It was a poor throw, but it wasn't the level of dumb that Love's last throw was.
It doesn't mean that Love won't learn from that and not throw across his body across the field into triple coverage again on 1st down with plenty of time left. But Favre never learned that and was still doing it at playoff crunch time when he was 40 years old.

They will have earned every bit of that trophy if the Bills win their next 3.
Write it down.....CHAMPIONSHIP!
I want to see this....GO BUFFALO!!!
Both these teams look too banged up to beat BAL.
Houcili will lead the flag fest in this one.

Love vs. Rodgers vs. Favre in crunch time
Love: throw down the middle to the triple covered guy.
Rodgers: don't throw down the middle to the wide open guy.
Favre: don't throw down the middle to the wide open guy, throw to the triple covered guy instead.
More action in this game than all of Liz Taylor's honeymoons!

Favre wanted to be known as the guy who was the gunslinger. Try any throw at any time. He wanted to be the reason they won games and didn't mind being the guy that lost them.
Rodgers wanted to be the guy that never lost the game because of something he did and was overly cautious when when he needed to be aggressive. He wanted to make sure he was never blamed for losing a game.
Not sure where Love will end up, but was very Farvian in college and in his first preseason games as a 1st and 2nd year guy.
Kincaid. Speaking of rookie TE's. Where was Musgrave last night?

I've seen several analysts the last couple weeks comp Love to Favre more than AR.
Buffalo FG good. 3-0.
Minor victory for KC there, holding Buffalo to a FG after an impressive opening drive
I'll take a Favre clone over about 28 other current QB's
Now for the real game.

I think I'd take the Favre that played under Holmgren from 1995-1998 over almost any other QB in history.
The post-Holmgren Favre wasn't even a Hall of Fame level player.

From a numbers standpoint, that only applies to his junior year in college. As a sophomore, he had 32 touchdown passes vs. 6 interceptions. Not Favre like IMO.
