Kewsi invested in the defense when prior draft picks weren't cutting it. The only defensive starters they drafted are the safeties and the nickel.

Their DBs aren't even that good, but they play so aggressively and put so much pressure up front they don't need to cover all that long.

Kwesi cut (his own failed) 1st round pick Cine after just 2 years inviting justified criticism. Kwesi also let Hunter go after he had 16.5 sacks last season. Gutsy moves.

In GB, Savage got 5 years and excuses are still being made for him even though McKinney proves just how bad he is every Sunday. Stokes will, of course, get every opportunity to prove he was worthy of a 1st round pick in year 4 in GB. And we all know Quay will continue to start (even if he continues to not play all that well) at ILB come hell or high water.

Meanwhile, the Vikes D features Van Ginkel, Greenard, Phillips, Tillery, Bullard, Griffen, Cashman, Gilmore, Murphy and likely other vets picked up from other teams and for not all that much money.

I loathe the Queens, but I loathe a Packer D with 7 first round picks (4 on the D Line alone) and 2 second round picks continuing to shit the bed even more. Soft, pampered, and often overpaid and under-productive. Not much to like about the GB D right now or in the past 14 years.

And the fact that the best Packer defender through week 4 was neither drafted nor developed by the Packer organization should surprise no one.

Most other NFC games this week appear to be dogs.
NYG at SEA, CLE at WAS, and CAR at CHI are not likely to fall in our favor.

DAL at PIT tonight could be a fun one.
Ditto for NO at KC Monday night.

I don't know about League MVP but he's clearly the best rookie QB I've seen. I think he's even better than Stroud.

It'll be pretty tough for a rookie to win League MVP but not impossible.

If he leads that dumpster fire franchise to a division title and/or playoff spot I like his chances.

It's the personnel, not the DC. And that lays at Gute's doorstep.

Would not be surprised to see Robert Saleh running Green Bay’s defense next year (or a unit of it).

Why? He left the 49ers and their defense didn’t miss a beat. A little early to show the white flag on Hafley. Other than a crony hire I can’t see him in GB and Saleh wouldn’t settle for anything short of HC/DC.

Vikes going to 5-0 would not exactly be ideal for the G & G, especially after Minny already pounded them at Lambeau already.

How many 1st round picks does Flores have on that D and how many free agents have been brought in from other teams?

vikings did not pound anyone, at Lambeau. Packers lost by 2 points, after missing 2 FGs and having a TD catch nullified. Hardly a pounding. Yeah, the Vikings are 5-0, now. That will make their inevitable demise, all the sweeter.

I was there. It was 28-0. It took a fluke muff on a punt return to give GB life.

The Vikes also took the proverbial foot off the gas, and to the Packers credit they came back. But when it got to a 1 score game (28-22) the Vikes toyed with the D yet again and effortlessly drove for the game sealing FG.

The Vikes also chose not to kick a FG and just ran the ball to kill clock before the Pack drove 90+ yards on their final drive to make the final score appear closer.

Love you Tundra and your disdain of all things Purple (I'm right there with you), but that was a beat down.

(That said, if Jordan gets healthy, I think we can score on that D in Minneapolis in December. I have no such confidence in our D or field goal kicker holding up their ends of the bargain).

Josh Allen was concussed towards the end of that game. He pointed at his chest and went out for one play, but he looked to be unconscious for a couple seconds after the hit he took and he’s had that Steve Young glassy eyes look ever since.

Pointed to his chest doesn't mean concussion. I hope he didn't suffer some trauma to his heart.

Mike McCarthy with another horrendous challenge - challenging that Cowboys recovered the fumbled ball when you could clearly see he didn't.

I do not miss that at all
