DEN (10-7) #7 at BUF (12-5) #2
The Broncos have been a surprise this year, but I think their run comes to a screeching halt this weekend.
Buffalo has an excellent offense, but are weak defensively with the exception of allowing points. Denver is weak offensively, although they are efficient at scoring, but their defense is pretty strong, especially vs the rush and allowing points.

WAS (12-5) #6 at TB (10-7) #3
Another good matchup as far as teams being fairly equal, with just a couple of exceptions.
Both offenses are ranked in the top 5 overall, rushing, and scoring.
The Commodes ranked 17th in passing yards; the Bucs rank 3rd.
Both defenses are middle-of-the-road. The biggest exceptions are the Commodes are ranked 3rd vs the pass, but 30th vs the rush, and the Bucs are ranked at 29th vs the pass, but are #4 vs the rush.

Can anyone tell me why the last kickoff through the end zone by the Bills was brought out to the 20 instead of the 30?

  • Any kick that hits in the landing zone and then goes into the end zone – must be returned or downed by receiving team – if downed then touchback to B20 yard line

I guess through the EZ is the same thing as downing it?

Here's all the landing zone rules

  • Landing zone is the area between the receiving team’s goal line and its 20-yard line.
  • Any kick that hits short of the landing zone – treated like kickoff out of bounds and ball spotted at B40 yard line; play would be blown dead as soon as kick lands short of the landing zone
  • Any kick that hits in the landing zone - must be returned
  • Any kick that hits in the landing zone and then goes into the end zone – must be returned or downed by receiving team – if downed then touchback to B20 yard line
  • Kick hits in end zone, stays inbounds - returned or downed – if downed then touchback to B30 yard line
  • Any kick that goes out of the back of the end zone (in the air or bounces) – touchback to B30 yard line
