Unreal. I didn't expect that result.

Boy this yrs Packers team might be even in rougher shape than we thought. Green Bay Packers football needs to be found again.  This shit we've been feed for yrs now is str8 up BS. Just wasting away yrs of AR's service.

Today's loss was a blessing in disguise for the blind.

Congrats.  Happy Holidays to you and your family.

What do you possibly say at a press conference after this game?  Can someone just cancel it.

You obviously haven't been paying attention.  That is probably the easiest part of their job.  Here is a couple repeatable phrases:

1) "..... we do what we do ........"

2) ".......... I (whoever is talking) have to coach better ........."

3) "we need to fix that (to whatever didn't work well)"

4) "we need to execute ________ better"

5) And without saying it in so many words, "I am on borrowed time and about to be fired so why don't you quit asking the same questions week after week."

Easy ............

No one is wasting Rodgers years more than Rodgers himself

You mean like that time he threw two of the best Hail Mary passes in NFL history only to be let down by a defense that let Fitz go 75 yards on a broken defensive call? Was he playing DB at the time ?

Was he playing special teams in the NFC Championship game when Bostick screwed up?

Was he coordinating the defense when Colin Kaepernik ran for what seemed like about 500 yards in a playoff game?

Did he draft and keep a backup QB like Hundley that made it almost impossible to compete at a decent level until Rodgers could come back from injury?

Did he make personnel decisions that left him throwing to Abbrederis, Janis, a banged up Adams, a fossilized James Jones, and RichRod that one year?

Did he line up AJ Hawk and Brad Jones year after year and expect something different to happen?

How about thinking Jason Spriggs is a serviceable NFL OT or OG?

Did he draft Randall, Rollins, etc.?

Did he punt on 4th and 2 against Seattle? Fumble the ball against LA? Muff the punt last week?

Rodgers has had a poor year for him, but 21 TDs/1 interception is usually good enough to get you to be at least 500. Rodgers has not wasted his years.

Since the Super Bowl win in 2010  he has 246 TDs and 47 interceptions. In the playoffs he has 23 and 7.

The blame for this demise goes something like

1. Ted Thompson

2. Dom Capers

3. Mike McCarthy (or move him up on the list if he's the one that forced them to keep Capers).

Rodgers is a LOT lower on this list.

I think it's truer to say he hasn't played lights out enough this year to overcome the rest of the team's problems. Without him, they are probably a 2 win team right now.

There is enough blame to go around - from the Murphy to the janitor (when GB decides to 'clean up' this year he will have plenty to do) - and all the coaches and players in between.

When GB won the SB and AR was so deadly, Jordy Nelson was in his 4th year and was the least experienced of the WRs.  James Jones and Jennings had more experience.  This year it did not take long for Cobb and Allison disappear.  When they did AR had 1 experienced guy in Adams, and 2 rookies in Scantling & St. Brown.  Those two plus Moore and Kumerow are another 2 years away from being what they will become in GB if past WR development history is any guide under MM.  What I don't know is how or if that changes under a different HC.

So in your mind there is no one else to blame but Rodgers and Pettine?

Are you McVince's Squirrelpee?

Rodgers except for the 2nd half of the bears game has sucked since he got his 30 million. The defense still sucks no matter who is coaching. McCarthy doesn't have a clue. Murphy only cares about gouging the fans for every nickel he can bring in. This team is broken beyond belief.

Forgot to add I don't know anyone anyone named ****ing McVince.

McVince?  The guy that just got fired.  The greatest coach ever the likes of Belichek and Lombardi?  The seemingly besieged hero of the story who had zero accountability because it was TT, Capers, Rodgers, players fault?

That McVince.

So because you assume that everyone is in love with McCarthy, you get to make up a childish name for him. Got it.

Should Capers have been let go earlier? Yes. Unfortunately the defense isn't any better no matter what the stats say.  As far as the offense it is all on Rodgers,he has to make plays. He has been in the offense long enough to call his own plays.

The whole organization has gone to shit since they hired Murphy.

Only when people say stupid shit comparing Belichek and Lombardi to McVince and how foolish it would be to fire him because of a record that doesn't equate to what's happened over the past 3 years.  Or the fact it should've been apparent to everyone last year when Rodgers wasn't part of the equation and all of his management failings on and off the field became crystal clear.

If the defense isn't markedly better on the field, stats or no, it's because it's tapped dry.  If you can't see the difference between Pettine, his play calling and what he's getting out rookies and scrubs compared to Capers then that's just willful ignorance.  Give Pettine the roster Capers had in 2014 and this isn't even a discussion.  He's young, smart and can actually get more from his talent than The Wizard and his country club.

What's more interesting is how it's being inferred that Rodgers would rather be a "god" than win ball games.  This conflict of egos shouldn't be a surprise.  The whole thing started going south years ago.  Is Rodgers too demanding or oversensitive?  Maybe, probably likely, but when Rodgers is on the same page he's unstoppable so just count it as part of your coaching duties to get on the same page with your superstar QB.  I don't see why that's so offputting when that's what brought you so much success before.

I've stated before that it is more the players on defense than the coaching. A good example is Tramon Williams. There has to be better players available. As far as the offense goes, who are they going to find to reign in Rodgers? How long will it take for him to adapt to a new offense? Can he adjust to his arm not working the same? Because something is wrong with all the low passes he is throwing
