Hungry5,
Heck I like James Jones and would love for Starks to be with the team as well.
I don't think Jones has a lot of bargaining power. First there is a boat load of free agent Wide Receivers this year. Then this year draft is load with good wide's, it is the position at which this draft has the most talent.
Ted may not even tender a offer to Jones, let him test the market like last time he was a Free Agent then maybe match the best offer.
Bring back Kuhn...dude deserves it.
There should be a cap exemption for guys like Kuhn.
It's great to be here.
RT @Rich_Campbell Mayock: This is the deepest draft in 10 years. A GM told him a top-20 pick this year is like a top-10 pick last year.

....and if you need a QB, like a 4th-round pick two years ago.
Wasn't Russell Wilson picked in the middle of the 3rd round 2 years ago? That may not be too much of an insult Hersch.

Deserves got nothing to do with it. I'll see you in hell, John Kuhn.

But with the Vikings ahead of us it's just like having a top 20 pick.
Great point P-Hawk! And there ladies and gentleman is why ROTTT generally trades down. With all inclusive dum ahead of us #21 has 10-15 value.
"Top 10" quality pick could get us an AJ Hawk or BJ Raji type player. Yay. Better off in the 20's (Rodgers, Matthews, Bulaga)

They already drafted an AJ, a BJ and a CJ. Is there a DJ available?
Already drafted 2 of those, TE DJ Williams and LB DJ Smith. An EJ would fill the obvious need.

E.J. Henderson?
FJ
Did Williams ever get picked up by anyone?
if only GOd wOuld Give us a Loving mEans to solve such conundrums
Yes, He was on the Jags briefly, then got picked up by the Patriots
I'm just God's little helper
#Packers safeties in 2013: Allowed 861 yards, 13 TDs and a passer rating of 135.8. Zero INTs, FFs. Missed 32 tackles.
That's from the entire group. Burnett, Jennings, McMillian, Richardson, Banjo. Ugly.
Holy crap.

This looks like a ransom note or something
the answer to your riddle lies within the question

Holy crap.
For comparison's sake, the duo in Seattle allowed 431 yards, 3 TD and a passer rating of approx. 65.7. Almost exactly half of what GB gave up in yards and QBR.
They combined for 8 INTs, 3 FF and 22 missed tackles. The missed tackles were actually fairly high, but I think we'd all settle for even a fraction of that kind of safety play.
nay
No, I only got the basic PFF membership.
1st time Lasix!
NFL's salary cap now projected to rise to about $130 million, up 5 percent from $123 million last year, per league sources. More $ for all.
The Green Bay Packers arenât unique in this regard. All NFL teams will get some extra salary-cap space due to the expected bump.
If confirmed, the Packers would be close to $31 under the salary cap as opposed to the $29 million under previous assumptions.
The question is, will this influence the Packers any more than usual to be active in free agency, especially in players from outside the organization?
More money to keep Shields and Raji.

NO!
BTW, do the Cowboys and 'Skins get in on the new money?
Doesn't raising the cap just increase the amount of money EVERYBODY has to spend on contracts? Isn't it just inflation?
I would think they could reach a deal with Shields. Reportedly wants 5.6 million per year but maybe we could negotiate that down a bit to maybe closer to 5 million per year which isn't a back breaker. I say let's get the deal done.
If this is true, IMO thats extremely reasonable. Here I am thinking he wants 11 mil a year...
Christ. Bargain
5.6 for a starting corner? Sign him now.
More money to keep Shields and Raji Evan Dietrich-Smith.
