It wasnt even the hand by the ball. It was irrelevant to the pass. You'd understand it he was trying to bat the ball down.
There's no reason for Brad Jones to be on the field. He is a mediocre player who makes back breaking penalties...here, Seattle in the opener, last year with his PI penalties. Better off playing with 10 then playing with him.
Whatever it takes this defense could not make the stop. So a guy who is awful still plays and makes the play to help keep the Lions alive on the drive.
Two weeks off for AR to rest? Yeah, doubtful now.
Needed help from the defense with the injury to AR. That drive certainly didn't cut it.
And having a legit backup QB would be nice. Noodlearm and the project aren't likely to get it done.

If the offensive line can keep opening holes for Lacy, they can win with Flynn. Defense is going to be the biggest factor in determining this game.

Good news is Lions will come out of the 2 deep to stop the run. Bad news is I'm not sure Flynn has the arm strength to go over the top.
We are going to need another big play on special teams or Defense to hold on for the win.
