I’m now watching the game…..the last 2:00 minutes of it, the rest of it just stunk…..ugh.  They are going no where.  Penalties, and INT’s, Special Teams……they just stunk up the joint today.  🤬. 🤬 🤬.  But……a win, is a win.  ♥️ 💚 💛

His first FG was right down the middle, but a time out called, then the 2nd one??? Off to the left, but…….it counts.

It wasn't a great snap, but Whelan got it down, and the kick was still a couple of feet inside the upright from 45. It's not like he doinked it in off the upright.

+ Always happy to steal a win that you don't necessarily deserve. It happens fairly often in this league and it sucks when you're on the other side of the outcome.

+ D played pretty well despite the favorable field position and turnovers that we kept giftwrapping for the Texans.

+ Whelan, McManus, Wilson, Doubs, Jacobs when he had his chances.

+ Hafley for calling a good game and keeping the pressure on Stroud. Never allowed him to get super comfortable. Not having Collins on the field helped.

plus -- 45, 33, 52, 87, 19.

            Letsgobrandon anus McRapist.

minus -- coaching / clock management

special teams / Nixon / Reed.

Zach Tom.  Probably won't happen again.

               Love.  WTF guy.

+ Defense played well.  Gave up a lot of rushing yards but less than 200 total yards including only 55 passing yards.

+ Pulled out a win despite having 3 turnovers, 8 penalties and special teams mistakes.

+ WR’s getting open with good routes and making some tough catches.

+ Whelan

- Love throwing into coverage with 2 picks.

- Special teams mistakes

Great QB? C'mon.

Yeah, he is great.  Best rookie QB in a long time last season (although Jayden Daniels is putting on a show this season), Offensive Rookie of the Year and in his playoff debut he tied the rookie record for most passing touchdowns in a playoff game, and became the youngest quarterback to win a playoff game in league history.

Watch much football?

Why so negative today?

Agree with all ....I want to add one subtle thing Hafley did to start the second half. On the Texans last drive of the First Half they killed us running left. Hafley came out and flipped his front, putting Clark and Gary on that side. Got us a quick 3 and out.

Agreed.  This wasn’t one of Stroud’s best days but I think he’s easily a top 10 QB at age 23.  He was missing his favorite target today, but he still found a way to make plays on a day where his O-Line was leaky in terms of pass blocking.

Negatives:

-turnovers

-run D

-Love inconsistency

But the positives outweigh the negatives and show what a quality team this is.

+ D was spot on minus majority of run D

+ Whelan. He's a stud

+ No way around it, McManus was clutch. I don't want to comment on his situation without knowing everything that went down

+ Last drive was clutch people. They made it look relatively easy getting in FG range, and it wasn't.

+

5-2

Doubs

Evan Williams stands out every week with at least a few great plays.  Steal!!

Pass rush

We have a kicker and a punter.

The holder on the game winning FG saved a shitty snap.

Defensive energy was awesome.  But for the love of God, stop yapping 23!

Gary

Wilson

Relatively few injuries.  Only one I saw was Walker.

The fan in the end zone that blocked the Texan Lambeau Leap.  Give that man a beer.

-

Interceptions.  Love is more Favre than Rodgers.  Definitely takes chances.  I don't hate it.

Punt return teams.  Do better.  Jesus fuck guys.

My prediction of a 14 point victory.  Dumdum.

The long snapper on the game winning FG.  You have ONE JOB!

Why so negative today?

Well, they sure aren’t SUPER Bowl ready yet……and right, a long way to go, but the penalties, the horrible play of the special teams, and 2 INT’s???  Yah, I’m a tad negative.   Just hate to see them play so poorly.

Positives: Pass rush was very good and aggressive today

Negative:  Rushing defense was poor, especially in the 1st half.

Positives:  Romeo Doubs was terrific.

Negative:  Jayden Reed had his roughest day of the year.

Positive:  Love made enough good throws to make up for the bad ones.

Negative:  It felt like the Texans baited Love into some bad mistakes.  He maybe got a little lucky on that backwards pass to Reed that easily could have been his 3rd turnover of the day but fortunately was ruled incomplete.

We got away with a shaky performance today but need to be much cleaner in execution for some of the tough matchups ahead on the schedule.

They'll be ok. When you can win ugly it says something. Not every game is going to be flawless.

Thank you, am feeling a tad better already.  The queens lost, and that ALWAYS makes me feel good.

++++ A Win, at Lambeau, and by our Kicker, no less! vikings lose! Eric Wilson played well. More solid D by Xavier!  Nice catches by Kraft, Wicks, Doubs and Jacobs!  Jacobs caught his 1st career TD pass, today! Gary playing a lot better, today. Van Ness getting in on the fun! Our 3rd down Defense, for most of the game. Whelan booming punts! Evan Williams is a keeper.

----Quay's concussion. ST's play, all game long, was really bad. Stupid turnovers. Our nonexistent run defense, again! This game was way closer than it should have been. We continue to shoot ourselves in the foot with stupid penalties and turnovers. Our lack of team discipline. MLF not going for 2 after the TD to put us up by 3.

+++++   Stupid Houston coach for calling a pass on the 3rd down.  Saved the Pack a time out which was the only way they stopped the clock to kick the game winning FG.

Doubs.  He is clutch most of the time.

Gutey for bringing in a new kicker and sticking with Doubs. .

Evan Williams. 6 solo tackles.

X Man  5 solo tackles and a sack.

Nixon.  Very good kick returns.

Packers were the better team today with Hou down their #1 and #4 4WRs and a slew of defensive starters, but they made it a lot harder than they had to.

++++ Whelan McManus, Doubs, Hafley, Wilson.

+++ Cooper, Bullard, Williams.

++ Gary, McKinney, and Kraft.

+ J Love’s TD passes.

- - - - Whomever is being paid a lot of $$$ to “coach” Packer punt returners, both Reed and Nixon.

- - - J Favre’s risky passes that are INTs waiting to happen.

- - Run D at certain times & run blocking far too often.

Smoke something.....enjoy the win. That was a 5-1 team they just beat and were -4 in turnovers. Very difficult feat to win while -4
