You've always been receptive.
Ty was a bad receiver. He couldn't make our roster at WR....what maybe our 7th or 8th best receiver ?
RB ? How would we know. We cant seem to figure out how to use a RB

Similar comments made about Hayward and his spot on the depth chart when he departed GB.
Ty is not the 7th best receiver on the roster.
Coaching on this team is shit. Been shit for a long while now. And shit has to change.
We do what we do....
BAL needed a RB badly. I assume that's where they want him. Then again they could just keep him a hybrid.

Completely agree. Before he was injured, then converted, he was playing solid ball. He was far from the worst WR on this team. He was being used as Swiss Army knife. I don't fault him at all for his complaint of not knowing what his role on the team was.
Yup, Janis! was on the team.
Montgomery had a pretty decent start to his rookie year at WR particularly in that home game against the Rams. Recall him having several decent catches and a score or two. I remember it well as my bro and I went to that game. Lot of fun.
Then he gets hurt and misses the rest of the 2015 season and they got the brilliant idea to convert him into a RB.
So who knows had they kept him at WR? Maybe they donβt pay Cobb that ridiculous contract. Maybe they donβt draft a kajabillion WRs this year. All I know is the coaches didnβt do him many favors. It doesnβt excuse his behavior on Sunday, but he got jerked around a lot IMO.

I also feel Montgomery planned to run the ball out of the end zone instead of giving Rodgers a chance for a two minute drive to get us into FG range for Crosby to get us the win. Bye Bye Montgomery.

Any Tombstone reference deserves a thumbs up! Let's hope the Packers have a better fate than Curly Bill
...or Johnny Ringo. He wasn't a daisy at all. He was just high strung.

Most everyone agrees on the coaching being shit.
I'm probably a bit too giddy over us being loaded at WR. But not going to lose any sleep over dumping a guy that had a hard time being available, was possibly insubordinate, and showed limited WR ability. Davante, Cobb, Geronimo, Valdez-Scantling, St. Brown, Kumerow, etc...I'll take that. Maybe Moore comes around too.
Ty as properly used swiss-army knife : exciting. Ty as a WR : meh.
I think Florio is a special kind of asshole. https://profootballtalk.nbcspo...amp_tf=From%20%251$s
No, he's a special kind of stupid.
Florioβs needs clicks and heβs pi$$ed because MM wonβt throw his players under the bus.
He should go talk to Gerg.
Florio isnβt aware of the reason why Ty is in Baltimore. He thinks it has to do with a return. Florio is an idiot.
Florio ignores cancer lady, so there's that.
Mike was told to be a soldier in his presser on Monday. He did. Itβs pretty clear he gets the length of his leash.
Looks like Ty Montgomery is of the opinion he has finally landed in the right spot to display all of his talent.
I think I'll wait and see.....the Jets haven't had a plan that's worked since 1969.
If the plan is no KO return duty and playing about 15% of the snaps they might have it right.
Excepting whatever the crap was he was going through that led to his fumbled return, I liked Ty as a player, and always thought he was never used enough, especially with plays that would have called for both receiving and RAC.
But, what do I know?
In any case, I'll wish him luck, and hope he does well.

Also add glass-like injury history. As a RB, dude was always hurt. IIRC, broke ribs on a fairly routine tackle play against the Bears
