Aaron Rodgers average pass attempts per game dropped from 35.2 per in 2013 to 33.6 in 2014. 20 NFL teams put the ball in the air more per game than Green Bay in 2014.

As that number comes down, this offense becomes more lethal. Can't key on Aaron or Eddie. You have to be ready for either. Fortunately for defenses Aaron isn't very good at spotting scheme.

We are not passing as much because more & more DC's are playing us to pass, thus leaving "light boxes" that give us favorable run situations.

Lets get this party started!

Lombardi just rolled over in his grave:

PLAYER DAYS OFF

No practices are scheduled on Aug. 2, 5, 9, 14, 16, 18, 21, 24, 27, 30 and Sept. 1. Players will not practice more than three days in a row. Only three times all camp does the schedule show three days in a row with practices.

Let me tell you this. Vince Lombardi could have won 50 years before he coached. He obviously won when he coached. And he would have won 50 years after he coached. Because he had it. Whatever it is, he had it.

John Madden.

Still one of the best quotes from a great about someone they knew was better. Vince would hate 2015. But he'd still kick everyone's ass.

Time change. The Packers @ Steelers preseason game Sunday night, August 23 has been moved from 7pm to 12noon. The reason is the Pirates vs. Giants baseball game has been moved to primetime for national coverage. Pittsburgh officials didn't want the traffic for both games simultaneously. No official word yet from the Packers, just a brief posting on their team website tonight, even though this story was posted two days ago in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. - MIKE CLEMEN

Now this is pretty cool.

@jasonjwilde: Murphy says all #Packers @ProFootballHoF'ers and players from @SuperBowl I team who are able to travel will come for #Seahawks game on 9/20.

@jasonjwilde: Murphy says players will then stay all week for events, then have special celebration for the @ESPNMondayNight game vs. Chiefs on 9/28. [as this season marks the 50th anniversary of the GB-KC inaugural Super Bowl]
