If BB gets a corporate accountant to cook his salary cap books so he can get more free agents while hiding the cost from the NFL and takes more than one player per pick in the draft and exceeds the top number of players allowed in his 2021 training camp, we will know he is up to his old tricks again.

It is a little funny that Brady is in the playoffs while BB is home scheming how to tilt the field in his favor - yet again.

FFS....

This only  gets us up to 2015 and its only the stuff they were caught doing

Those investigators hadn't come up empty: Inside a room accessible only to Belichick and a few others, they found a library of scouting material containing videotapes of opponents' signals, with detailed notes matching signals to plays for many teams going back seven seasons. Among them were handwritten diagrams of the defensive signals of the Pittsburgh Steelers, including the notes used in the January 2002 AFC Championship Game won by the Patriots 24-17.
Yet almost as quickly as the tapes and notes were found, they were destroyed, on Goodell's orders: League executives stomped the tapes into pieces and shredded the papers inside a Gillette Stadium conference room..."

I think it's comical that some of you think the Pats ship sailed and/or BB suddenly he isn't a great HC/GM.  They lost a HoF QB with really no viable options to replace him.  They had a couple of stout defenders opt out for the season.  And they still finished 7-9.  A lot of people thought BB would tank the season just to get a high pick. Assuming BB stays with NE (haven't heard he won't), they will be one of the better teams in football over the next few seasons assuming they can get a decent QB. And I'm fairly certain he'll build another great roster.

I think people are talking about them missing the playoffs.

It's 1 down year & TBH, I think this year may have been one of BB's best coaching jobs. He actually had to work for the wins instead of just knowing what plays were coming.

I'll be the first to admit when all those Pats players opted out, I thought for SURE BB was tanking for TrevLaw but then they signed Cam & I know Cam himself isn't going to tank. He had some highlight reel plays throughout the season.

I'm just glad they're not in the playoffs.

Referencing Satori's ESPN article; Matt Walsh - one of BBs video recording people - said that the video taping did not stop after his employment was terminated.  That would seem to backed up when Brady more recently was praising Aaron Rodgers saying words like that if he had information on defenses like he (Brady) had, Rodgers would be unstoppable.

here's the quote from Brady

"If Aaron Rodgers had the Patriots' institutional knowledge on opposing defenses, he'd throw for 7,000 yards every year. He's so much more talented than me."

Fuck you Pakrz.

Bill is a great coach, a student of the game and an NFL historian par excellence

But he took the cheating wayyyy too far, for wayyyy too long. Once he realized that the league was too worried about tainting their image and gravy train to really punish him, he continued with impunity.

He learned that from Wall Street scumbag Ernie Adams. Ernie taught Bill how they simply ran a calculation of the SEC fine vs the ill gotten gains they could get from various shady moves - and so long as the numbers worked out - they'd do it. Bill made the same calculation - would he lose the actual Title or Trophy ...
or would the gutless league dock him some cash and a draft pick ?
How's that for analytics ?

That's why his accomplishments will always be tainted, ill gotten and unworthy of the over-the-top adulation bestowed upon him by legions of...stupid people.

I'm no Pats/Belichik/Brady/Kraft fan, not in the least. But I'd wager that AR would have more than 1 SB ring if BB was his HC/GM during AR's career.

Yep.  The reality is Belichek is a POS human but also an solid coach.  Brady walked onto a Tampa team with a shit ton of talent due to sucking ass for so many years.  Iโ€™d fucking hope heโ€™d look half way decent.  Belichek needs to realign and build up the team again.  With that said, heโ€™ll be dealing with a legit Buffalo team for the years to come.  I hope they kick the shit out him and Pats.
