Yeah, that was beyond stupid. But they do have talent at WR. Fuller, Cooks, Cobb, Stills. They would look completely different with a Jones, Cook or Kamara at RB. Thinking David Johnson had something left was asinine.

I agree with the bolded statement above. Of course, I was only making reference to signing the LT or the RB to a big contract as was mentioned a couple times earlier in the thread.
Besides, I'm sure Year #3 Gary Rashan will go a long way in stopping the other team.

You spelled "running" wrong
Really too many positives and individual players to list. Especially with what everyone has already listed. Just some I haven't seen yet.
+Goal line stand in the Red Zone!!! (Gary made the TD saving stop the play before too. And Summers made the snot bubble stop on 4th.)
+Beat a west coast team on the road!!!
+MLF still hasn't lost 2 in a row!!!
+We must be the lowest turnover team in the league!!!
+I can't help but repeat what others have posted. ALL WORLD JENKINS is the Swiss Army Knife of our super top 5 OL. What a generational talent!!!
@Henry posted:I don't quite know what to think of Jenkins at LT. Honestly, I'd like to see him get another shot against a solid team. May be nuts but it could make the Bak contract talks a lot more simple.
Might've seen your future starting lineup last night.
Not nuts. Bak is coming up on 30 and will cost a boatload to resign. Something has to give with all of the FA's coming up in 2021. I think Jenkins can play out there regularly.
+ Burks showed a little life ... tied Amos for most tackles with 5. Seemed like he and Savage played a little faster than they typically do
+ Defensive lineman finally won some one-on-ones and were disruptive
+ Jones is at a level clearly above J. Williams
+ O-line played well
+ AR
- KO coverage was poor (I know Crosby not kicking is main reason)
- All the positives were vs. a JV team
- As someone else pointed out , although defense played better, they still do not rally to the ball as quickly as SF defense does
- Can't beat good teams if Alexander & King are out
#Packers RB Dexter Williams, elevated from the practice squad on Thursday following COVID-19 issues, is out at least three weeks with an MCL sprain, source said following his MRI. That makes him a candidate for Injured Reserve.

Guess that's a bit of a positive- reporting suggested the injury was much more serious.
I also have to agree on Jenkins- if the organization is comfortable with him at LT that changes the Bakh negotiations significantly and puts the Packers in a much better place financially.
Jenkins would benefit BIG TIME if he's at LT once his rookie contract expires too. Not sure if he has the skill set for LT, but he sure seems to excel whereever they put him.
@Fedya posted:It's possible the Packers won some coin tosses, deferred, and stopped the opponents on their opening drive.
I think the coin that the refs used, in the toss, is a coin used by hypnotists to put people to sleep, or into a trance, and that coin had "tails" on both sides. When the refs showed the coin to the opposing team, they automatically were hypnotized into calling "tails," in the coin toss. The hypnotized players have been "suggested" into deferring, every time, so the Packers get the ball first, in the 1st quarter, of each game. It usually takes a full offensive series for the Packers opponents to come out of their stupor, and the signal is when the ref calls "Time Out, Green Bay" in that 1st quarter. One of the refs, in the 49ers game, was named Freud and the Line Judge was named H. Pocus, who on Fridays, can be found in a circus tent sticking needles through the hands of grown men, without them feeling a thing, ever. I feel the game is rigged, somewhat but I am hopeful our team Captains, on those fluke coin toss calls, call "Heads" every time.
All the ga ga over how the OL played Thursday night might want to consider this was a new and mostly unscouted arrangement. They might benefit from more playing time and settling in at their positions but defenses will eventually have enough film to know how to better attack them too. It was a one/first game sample size. Same goes for Jenkins at LT.
Pretty impressed with the job Stenavich and Butkus are doing. They’ve taken some tough circumstances and adapted incredibly well. Lane Taylor goes down for the season and Lucas Patrick comes in and is not only adequate, but damn good. Billy Turner has really stabilized his game. Linsley , who was bashed often here, has polished his warts. Mix that in with 74 and 69 playing at all pro levels ...Plenty of examples of their successes. It appears the O-line room is in good hands at 1265.
Still, whoever found and said "sign Jenkins" should get a raise -- big time.
Love having the Packers in Prime Time BUT ....it makes my Sunday's too productive
Re-sign Bakhtiari, Jenkins at RT and they have their bookends.
Both Wagner and Turner are under contract in 2021. We don’t need four tackles.
Because tackles never get hurt?
I started to say they could both be cap casualties, but Turner may stick around another year. He's due an $8M salary, but would have a dead cap of $4.5M.
Wagner is due $6M in salary, with 'only' a $1.75M dead cap figure, and I can't see him being here if Daktari is re-signed at that price.
Jenkins won't be LT next season. If it happens, it would be that we moved on from Bahk and then after Wagner leaves.. So 2022 at the earliest. Then you insert the next pro bowl guard, Runyan.
I suppose you could put Turner at RG and Jenkins and Wagner at tackle in 2021, but I wouldn't.
