I hope Woodson's injury isn't the same as the one that forced Leroy Butler to retire. Frowner

Not quite the same (busted collarbone vs. busted shoulder blade), but not good, especially for someone Woodson's age. Even if it keeps him from coming back, not a bad way to go out.

Great win, but my god, those drops drove me nuts. James Jones = coach killer.

McCarthy with another questionable challenge in a big game. I'm telling ya, the guy needs to go.

That's funny because even though he lost the challenge, I felt it was a good challenge to take at that point in the game. No surprise but, I disagree with the refs call too.

And Thompson needs to go with him, for being stupid enough to hire this clown in the first place.

MM was OC for one of the worst offenses ever in NFL history when he was in SF.

Amazing isn't it?
I think the challenge was a good one and I actually did not agree with the outcome- it sure looked to me that he caught it and fumbled it and Perrera's explanation was lame ("it was a bang bang play so it should stand").

The NFL should just scrap instant replay if they can't get it right. I don't care if it happened too fast or not- that's what the replay is for and they did not make the right call.

Throwing the red flag was worth the risk.

I believe Pierara agreed with the "incomplete" ruling as did I.

Are you crazy? No way. The refs get so many calls wrong, instant replay has helped many games get called somewhat properly.

I've seen that type of play called both ways. I'm just glad one play didn't have a bearing on the outcome of the game.

Peas were OK; the commercials were beyond horrible. Aside from the Volkswagen (Darth Vader) one, none of them were funny or even especially original. And going by the ones that were advertised today, every movie that's released between now and summer is going to absolutely suck balls.

I agree and add that while not a comedy one I really liked the Eminem Chrysler commercial. Simple, straight forward and just hit a good tone.
+ The win. A remarkable journey to a championship and this is my favorite Packer SB team for the way they did it.

AR- Simply the best QB in the league.

The drops. AR would have probably been over 400 yards with four TDs had his receivers done their job. That's the only thing that prevented the Packers from coasting to a 10-14 point victory.
I thought the challenge was a good call by MM.

Not at all for overturning the call(it simply wasn't a catch according to the current NFL rules) but it was STOPPING the MOMEMTUM that Pittsburgh had built up and allowed the Packers players and Coaches to collectively catch their breadth.

The ball was going back to Pitt and at that point in the game, the defense was running on fumes.

The Pack was able to regroup a bit and slow down the MO-MO Pitt had going.

Good challenge MM.
The problem with that "catch/non-catch" was that you didn't hear a whistle until Jennings came up with the football. I thought the challenge was fine, but not surprised that they didn't overturn it. I'm just glad Jennings actually came up with it, had Pittsburgh recovered it who knows what they'd have ruled.

+ just about EVERYTHING

- the drops
- we may not see football for awhile with the pending lockout
