Really funny moment from the first half of the game and it shows you how relaxed #12 is:

Rodgers in the gun, Fox showing a closeup on Rodgers, and the crowd is so quiet you can hear everything (kudos to the Packer faithful on this, btw). You see a smile come across Rodgers' face as he's listening to the OL arguing about the call. Goes on for a good 15 seconds, finally as the play clock is winding down, so Rodgers says "Where we at? Where we at?" He has to call time out. So relaxed, so patient. And a really funny little moment in time.

Positives:

1. Offense is firing on all cylinders.

2. Mark Sanchez and Chip Kelly got knocked back down to earth.

3. Success of FREE AGENTS Peppers and Guion might encourage TT to pull the trigger on another guy or two when holes need filling.

Negatives:

1. SPECIAL TEAMS -- MM clearly needs even more "LB/TE Types" to stock the unit.

2. While Quarless has been serviceable, lacking a good TE for the Red Zone (and SPECIAL TEAMS) seems to really make life difficult for this team inside opponents' 20s.

3. MM wasted time early by not immediately torching the Eagles with the pass because everyone knows Chip Kelly stacks the box against the run and dares teams to pass. P.S. Chip Kelly is an idiot for doing this against the Packers.

Yes, the Packers ran the ball 6 times out of the first 37 plays or something.  One was touchdown.

Get it together, Tyrone.

Here's a link to the box score at ProFootball Reference - the part I enjoy is the

Win Probability Graph further down the page.

You can click on the boxscores to any game and see the win probability chart

The Packers are definitely showing a trend early in games.

Now contrast the Packers strategy with that of the Eagles- they both use up- tempo but GB uses it to build an immense early lead, while Chip Kelly used it to stay close and have the advantage of facing a tired defense late in the game....

None of the above. There were pretty strong winds but not at the field level. The flags on the goal posts were limp. It did seem to affect a couple punts.

Oh okay, for some reason I thought I saw rain or snow at one point during the game. Very odd that it was so slippery, but there was no wetness.

Winners and Losers

Losers

  • Steven Jackson: The Falcons running back often got winded and needed a short break to catch his breath before reaching the line of scrimmage
  • Minnesota Vikings: Bounced back from last weekā€™s win over Washington
  • Aaron Rodgers: For the second week in a row, Rodgersā€™ numbers greatly suffered in the fourth quarter

But three out of the first 10, Terry. Then, if you're right, just three out of the next 27.

Stats -- what funny things.

They were but did you see that long green and yellow flag on the field that the paratroopers were supposed to aim for during halftime? That thing was really whipping. Also the cheerleaders had trouble with their big flags.

Weird how the goalpost flags aren't moving but down on the field the wind is blowing.

And on that second drive, where Lacy had 3 carries, they scored a touchdown.

You are a dum phuck.

Through. The. Air.

Check it out, I'LL EVEN WRITE THIS REALLY BIG FOR YOU:

THOSE THREE RUNS CAME ON THE FIRST FOUR PLAYS OF THE DRIVE AND TOTALED FOUR YARDS.

My point was, you sad, sad man was that WHY EVEN RUN THE BALL AT ALL WHEN THE BOX IS STACKED AND THEY'RE DARING YOU TO THROW. GUESS WHAT HAPPENED WHEN MM STOPPED RUNNING? THEY WENT RIGHT DOWN THE FIELD FOR A TOUCHDOWN YOU SMART RIGHT HAND (UNLESS YOU'RE A LEFTY).

Flags? Did someone say FLAGS? Joe Buck is drooling.

2nd drive was 14 plays. Lacy had 4 carries for 14 yards. I agree with Brak.

I forgot for a second you're all on the same team. But in case you're not just messing with me and you are as dumb as you say I am -- I know the drive was longer than three plays. My point was that the drive started off with three runs in four plays and the runs, against a stacked LOS, went nowhere. Then MM thankfully took the Eagles' bait to pass and they scored a million points. Normally the run sets up the pass by drawing more defenders into the box. But the box was already stacked. PASS! And the rest of that drive that "was 14 plays" (10 passes) ripped the Eagles to shreds. But, again, I know you already knew what I was saying but some of you are sad people that get kicks out of being turds on a PACKERS FANS message board.

Great game, by the way. Add Randall Cobb to my list of positives. Have two Packers WRs made the Pro Bowl in the same season? Brooks/Freeman?
