The best thing the NFL could do is simplify the rules and make it easier to watch and follow.  Improve the flow of the game and overall watching experience.  What do they do?  Make it more tedious and analytical and confusing.  This newest rendition (PI) will be a cluster****.

It’s hillarious that the NFL is the only sport that found a way to screw up instant replay.  They are constantly blowing calls even with the replay process.  And bogging down or extending games.  Someone said “unwatchable” and that’s what it is fast becoming.

If the NFL did nothing but just adopt college rules the game would improve 100% overnight.

I think we can all agree:

The N.F.L. is fast becoming unwatchable.

I just feel bad for the good guys like Robert Kraft.

I think the reason it is becoming unwatchable are the incessant advertising breaks. Same goes for the NFL Network. You can't watch it for five minutes without a break, and that is supposed to be a network we  already pay to watch.

and from what I've seen of the NCAA tournament this year, they've done the same thing to it.   my gawd, commercial break 5 seconds after a team timeout cuz reasons and then review a call and...  my channel changing finger gets itchy.

Jeeze Louise, bitch bitch bitch.

They got screamed at for the New Orleans no-call, now they’re getting griped at for trying to do something about it?

They’re trying to get it right.  What’s clear is the stripes on the field can’t do that by themselves. The game has become too fast.

Have a little patience guys. It’s still football, it’s still the #1 sport, and it’s still way better than baseball and basketball. If the changes don’t work out, all they have to do is switch them up.  It’s not like they need to call a Congressional hearing or something.

I for one want the right call.  If that means the game takes a little longer, to me that just means more football time.

I guess I just don’t see how getting it right, and more football, is somehow cause for complaint. And it’s by the same collective group of fans who screamed bloody murder after the missed call in the Saints game, no less.  Make up your minds hey.

Actually, I want football. 50‘s, 60‘s, 70‘s, even 90‘s FOOTBALL. Today’s game is basketball on turf.

I used to try to watch as many games as possible on the weekends. Now?

if I have nothing better to do, I will watch the Packers because I grew to love them dearly during the dark years.

But, the nfl has long been replaced by real life.

The only reason I even watch anymore is because of the “hometown “ GBP.

As fans....all we want is the correct call as it happens on the field.

Calvin Johnson caught the ball.

Clay Matthews sacked the QB

KC Chiefs did NOT "rough" Tom Brady

**** the NFL - I'm taking up embroidery

I remember the Dez replay. There was a split second as Dez was transferring the ball from one hand to the other, the ball was touching nothing but air. Then as he grabbed the ball with the other hand, He touched 1 foot down then fell to the ground and the ball came out. After that Jerry and Christie went spazo in the VIP box!

All of these comments about F the NFL, the game is unwatchable, Goodell is a POS, etc...

Yet here you are, in the middle of the off season, on a NFL football message board. Why?

I tend to listen to the games with Wayne and Larry.  Makes it easier to post here during the games, too.

Because I'm waiting for the Duke/Mich St. Game & the Bucks game....and the Warriors game and the hockey playoffs to start.
