How dare somebody not like the Packers!
Let me get my fainting couch.

No politics on here.
I had plenty of sympathy for the Loins until their fans started acting like insufferable, front running tools like the Vikings. When they beat GB the second time around they acted like they won the Super Bowl.
A little humility goes a long way.
Packers are 10-4 and itโs like ho hum, which I love because you should expect to be competitive and strive to be better. Thatโs where I give MLF some credit. Not that MIM (Meathead in Michigan) isnโt an effective leader, but his whole routine is way too overhyped and embraced.
The fact of the matter is the Loins are trending in the wrong direction and if they want to blame it all on the injuries well go for it. They havenโt played very well in several weeks now. I refuse to feel sorry for them and honestly I hope it implodes. Karma is a beeotch.
That team is just an undead zombie right now.

Spot on with Lions fans. I get it that beating the Packers is a big deal because we have been beating the Lions for a long time. but that also that doesn't mean you can act like a douchebag spermhead fan
As you said give MLF some credit. I don't think he gets anywhere near the credit he should be getting. In his time in GB he had to deal with #12 and his ego, defensively challenged teams, and then had to get a team who's average age was by far the youngest in the NFL (and still is) playing well. And he overcame all of these things and has this team playing better and thankfully still kind of on under the radar.
Campbell? He is the exact opposite. I do think he is a decent coach but he also has benefitted from a front office that finally got its crap together and put a good team on the field. Anyhow, I know a few Lions fans and they say they embraced his style at first but now they are getting a bit pissed because they have waited so long to be good, and they feel like their coach is so damn reckless he is going to piss it away. And I have to agree with them.
So my thoughts on the NFC is that it is now down to 3 possibly teams. Philly, MN, GB and TB. This could be the type of year IMHO where a team like TB no one has thought of making the Super Bowl. But, my money is on Philly.
And I will be honest I am getting nervous about how well the spermheads are playing. I just hope they find a way to choke again this year.

Philly should be the favorite, but the team is very dysfunctional in terms of many key relationships - head coach/QB, QB/WR1. Everything is fine until they face some adversity and then the finger pointing starts. Hurts and AJ Brown are fighting right now during a 12-2 year. What happens when they fall behind by 14 in a playoff game?
I hate to say it, but unless Sam Darnold turns into a pumpkin here (which could still happen), I think the Vikings could end up winning it. They put more pressure on the QB than any of the NFC teams. They may also have the best WR/TE/RB passing game group in football. If their OL holds up, they are going to be tough. They get to play Seattle without Geno Smith, the Packers who may have already clinched a playoff berth, and who will likely be locked into the 6th seed, and then the Lions. If they win 2 of those 3, they may win the division and get at least the 2 seed.
The Lions play the Bears next in a game which might as well be the Bears Super Bowl. The Lions have to win that game or things could get really tight for them.

The word coming out is that Geno Smith will likely play against MN.
I don't think that will make much of a difference.
Disagree, but we'll see. I think if Geno plays then Seattle wins. MN has yet to be really tested on the road other than maybe GB.

So do I.

I think the Philly schism deal may be a bit overblown. But I fear you are spot on about Minny.
What really makes me nervous about MN if they win the NFC who in the AFC besides KC and Buffalo can match up with them?
I have to stop talking about the fact the spermheads could make the Super Bowl

What did you see from him and SEA sunday night to think they would beat MIN?

That would be AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Making it is different from winning it. Their history provides us with hope and them with the usual despair.
I think the Rams are a super sleeper type team because they have weapons and a good QB and a great coach.
They looked good vs a depleted SF.
I'm curious about the Bucs. I don't know anything about them other than them winning the NFCS and beating down what I thought was pretty good LAC team.
I agree on the Rams but Stafford looked awful against the Niners could have had five INTs
@DH13 posted:What did you see from him and SEA sunday night to think they would beat MIN?
My opinion is more based on who MN has beat this year, and the fact that they have to go on the road into a hostile environment against a team playing for their playoff lives. Besides GB and maybe Houston, MN's most impressive performance was probably a loss to Detroit at home. These next three games will be telling for how good MN really is. If they win 2 out 3 I'll be more of a believer, but it also wouldn't shock me if they finish the season 12-5. Again, just my opinion based on who've they've beaten this year.
The Bucs and Rams are interesting teams.
The Bucs are probably going to win the NFC south IMHO without any problems and are playing much better recently.
After looking at their schedule they are an up and down team. They beat both the Lions and Eagles way back in September but had a 4 game losing streak in the middle and are currently on a 4 game streak beating NYG, Panthers, Raiders and beat the Chargers by 23.
Honestly, I would like to avoid the Rams if possible. I think they have all of their weapons back on offense and they have beaten MN, Buffalo and could be on a 6 game winning streak come playoff time.

Queens have had like 6 cream puff games in a row. And that's not counting the Jets and Giants .

I would agree that Geno playing gives Seattle a better chance to win. Geno's not great, but he's a serviceable guy.
I think Sam Howell may throw multiple pick sixes if Minnesota gets to play him the whole game.

They got to play Green Bay on Jordan Love's first game back from injury. I don't think Love was anywhere near close to normal in terms of his mobility in the pocket until maybe the Dolphins game on Thanksgiving. If this upcoming Vikings game was in Lambeau, I think the Packers would be favored. The dome is probably worth 5-6 points given the need for a silent count and that stupid bullhorn.
Didn't Narveson miss a kick in that game? If LGB was on the roster it's conceivable the Packers win that game.

Missed two - 37 & 49, both in the first half.
Itโs conceivable we slaughter the Vikes in that game if Hafley had not had a complete brain fart first half and just allow Darnold to slice us up.

Yes. I would rather face Baker Mayfield (even with Mike Evans) in a playoff game rather than Matthew Stafford with Nacua and Cupp.
Definitely all gas no fuckin' brakes in the playoffs.
Buf, Phi, Det, Bal, and until proven otherwise, Kan will be tough outs in the tournament.
Games will be decided on the LOS, always are. Get a stop. Get a sack, TO. Break a long run, stop/beat a blitz.
GBs youthful ignorance makes them dangerous.
MLF needs to stay loose.
As it currently stands, I'd say the #3 seed will come from the NFCS.
TB has the same overall record as the Rams and Seahawks, but they are 2 games ahead in conference wins.
Common wins are considered in the tie breakers before conference record, but, since I tend to be lazy, I'll just go with the conference record unless a need to calculate the other is needed..
However, if Detoilet can't pull out of its' tailspin, or the Vikes falter as they are apt to do, the Packers could end up as the #2 seed with a division championship.
That would require a Chitcago victory over the Loins. And while they are suffering, they're not Bears bad. "Any given Sunday" would be the only hope...
Realistically, it's far more likely Green Bay will be the #6 seed, and that would mean a road game to Tampa. I can live with that.
