And I will be honest I am getting nervous about how well the spermheads are playing.  I just hope they find a way to choke again this year.

The Packers scored 22 points on the Vikings in the 4th quarter to lose by 2 points....this after their FG kicker missed not one....but TWO FG's PLUS Jordan Favre (or Bert Love, your choice) threw 3 INT's

The Vikings are in for a rude awakening when they play THiS version of the Packers in December/January. I put both months because the December game might be basically a Pre-Season game depending on factors of what other teams do.

Let's see how things shake out after the MNF game vs. the Saints.

Tauscher said something on the radio yesterday and I agree with him 100%....

It's really hard to win 4 straight games on the road....it's really hard to win 3 straight games on the road.....if the Packers don't make it to the Super Bowl....the team that has the #1 seed will. Whether that's the Vikings, or Lions or Eagles remains to be seen.

Here's what I think....if the Packers make it to the NFC Championship game and it's vs. the Lions or Vikings....the Packers won't lose.

The Eagles....have the O-Line and D-Line to win.

I hope the Lions or Vikings have the #1 seed. It's going to be glorious....and those Lion & Viking fans.....are going to hate, Hate.....HATE the Packers again

Missed two - 37 & 49, both in the first half.

If Narveson makes one of those two missed FGs, we win, in Lambeau. We lost by two freaking points. We will beat the vikings, when we play them, next. I feel the real implosion, for the vikings, will be in the playoffs, when they go one and done, against whomever they play. It's coming. You can feel it. I will revel in it! You should, too! GO PACK, GO!!!

I think any success GB has the rest of the season and in the playoffs is predicated on continuing to feed Jacobs the ball on offense via the run and the screen. Ball control and time of possession along with no turnovers is paramount in keeping the defense off the field. While I think that the Packer D is improved, I don't think it can win games for this team. The first half of the Seattle game should be the blueprint for the rest of the season.

I agree on the Packers defense that yes, they have improved but they need to get them off the field.  I really love their effort right now, but I also am still very worried that they can give up big plays and at times they have a tendency to play soft and allow too much pitch and catch.

So yes, the playbook should be Jacobs early and often.  Nothing is better for the QB than running the damn ball which opens up play action.  It also can take the steam away from the defense and the hostile crowd.

And IMHO there is one other big difference with this year's Packers team.  They do NOT back down from anyone.  You may beat them, but you are going to have to earn it.

Also.....the running game keeps the opposing offense on the sidelines while wearing out the opposing defense. Gigantic recipe for winning football

Exactly!!! This team is not soft like some of those former Packer teams....BOTH sides of the ball too!

It can't happen. Both the Lions and Vikings are 12-2 and play each other in the last game of the season. One of them has to end up at least 13-4. I guess it could happen if they tied in the season finale and both of them ended up 12-4-1, which is obviously highly unlikely.

If it's the Lions, the Packers would lose the tie-breaker. If it's the Vikings, it would likely go fairly deep into the tiebreakers to decide.

Now, what I want to know is .....

Detroit, Minnesota, Green Bay and Philly ALL end up 13-4!

NOW do the tiebreaker!!!

According to the ESPN Playoff machine

That would be some hot take.

Seeding doesn't matter...a lot of times teams play better on the road. Locked in and focused more. Just get in, and win.

And some teams are able to turn it up a notch come playoff time.  MM before the final fall seemed to always have the team ready to play their best ball in the post season, even after middling seasons where they never really seemed to look like a playoff team.  No matter what condition the team was in going in, I don't recall every getting blown out in the first round.

I don't follow other teams enough to know if there are any that can do that today.
