+ At least were going to be picking higher in the draft. Just as all these teams who constantly pick at the top of each eventually have enough talent to compete, teams that constantly draft later in every round will need an infusion of talent. We need to finally hit on an impact 1st rounder who can stay healthy.

- Listening to the Lion fans who all the sudden have something to brag about. They will be back in the cellar sooner than later.

+'s

Shields made some plays

Clay being Clay

GAme was close at halftime

Turnovers made the drubbing look a bit less severe

The game is over

-'s

MM playcalling/gameplan. Didn't do Flynn any favors with it and is still dialing up the game as if Rodgers is his QB. Maddening to watch

Flynn. Awful

Dommy Dom's D doing it's usual

Hawk/Jones - junk ILB duo last season, even bigger junk this season.

Run D - early season success looking like a mirage now. Back to being completely atrocious

Tackling - awful

Davon House - incredibly slow, late to react and couldn't tackle on D or on ST.

Newhouse - barely even played and STILL was that bad

+

Rodgers

Crosby was an offensive machine today!

-

The entire D.  That includes EVERYONE.  Including Matthews and Shields.  Nobody gets a passing grade today.

OL.  Yes, everyone, including those on the bench that didn't cheer hard enough.

Play calling.  Both sides.

Embarrassed by Detoilet.

Ate too much.

"We didn't tackle well today but we made up for it by not blocking."  John McKay.

Positives:

I'm Thankful to be able to enjoy my family today.

I'm Thankful I have a pretty good job when I know so many other people are struggling.

I'm Thankful that I have my 5 y/o grandson wearing his Packer PJs this morning rooting for "his team".

I'm Thankful that no matter the outcome, my team is the Green Bay Packers.

Negatives:

I'm sorry that some of my friends and family members aren't still around to watch the game with me.

That's all I've got...

Seriously? they quit

I'm not sure what's more surprising....

The lack of confidence in the Packers WITH Aaron Rodgers

or

The amount of confidence in the (same 'ol) Lions.

TO's on D

Crosby 52 yd FG when game still mattered

Masthay good in all 6? punts

Newhouse benched

-

TO's on O

Packers found out what rest of NFL knows about Flynn

D is a mess

Expected better showing by Green and Gold but I'm still going to enjoy Thanksgiving and count my blessings.

Why does this thread even exist this week? Seriously.  Other than getting a few turnovers, there were no positives.  And the negatives are countless and redundant from post to post.

The game thread was locked, so should this one.

+ the hypothesis that Aaron Rodgers makes the Green Bay Packers a significantly better team on offense, on defense, on the sidelines, and in the booth won another game. It's now 4-0-1.

Randall Cobb is the missing spark plug. No ignition; no crank.

- coaching

- offense

- defense

- sidelines

- booth

Without Rodgers, they're below average.

+
Crosby fg was dead on from 54
Masthay is totally reliable again.
Defense got turnovers all day.
GB gets 10 days to get over this game and to get healthier.

-
Crosby from 54 was the total offense.
Masthay was on the field more than twice as much as Crosby.
Defense outscored the offense
GB gets 10 days to imagine what it is going to be like watching Detroit on TV in the playoffs.

There were a few positives from today's game:

Crosby made a great kick. Straight and true, and no doubt that it would be good. And would've been good from 60+.

Punt coverage made one good play, and pinned the Lions deep.

Perry's FF was a great play. CM made a great play beating a double team and blowing up a rushing play.

Tramon's and Shields' INT's were great plays.

Jordy and Jones made some great catches, and Lacy had his one big play.

Negatives are too many to list, and everyone knows them.

I don't think the team has quit, but there are some guys that aren't trying, and others who are just playing incredibly bad and/or really aren't that good.

++Our oldest daughter waking up in the middle of the night puking was less painful than watching GB today.  At least she's feeling better now.

--I don't see the Packers making the same turnaround as our little one.   The season is officially over.

Really? Some people are posting positives that aren't sarcastic jokes? C'mon there is nothing good to take from that game. This team is beyond depleted, and the short week just happened to rub it in even worse. I hope they look a little better against a bad team after 10 days of wound-licking time.

The defense has me baffled. Most of the good players are healthy and playing, but were gashed all day. A couple of turnovers were nice but in the end the defense gave up 40 points and close to six hundred yards. BIG NEGATIVE!

Offense scored 3 and Crosby had to hit a 54 yarder to make it 3. The offense gave up 2, so actually the offense had 1 point. BIG NEGATIVE!

The part I don't get is Jolly looked great earlier in the year.  Now?  Not so much.  Brad Jones and Davon House have faded big time as well.   CMIII and Tramon are about the only two guys that have played consistent.

The run defense is bordering on historical levels of suck the last several weeks.   Injuries don't and can't explain all of it.

I do think injuries to a good extent explains the piss poor O's performance, but not the D's.

Jolly's hit the wall.  Still carrying too much weight and showing the effects of his long layoff.  Props to him for playing as well as he did early on.  Get him into a solid off-season conditioning program and the weight room (his arms are puny for a guy his size) and I think he's a big time contributor throughout the season next year.  This squad needs his attitude.
