Before any other comments, the most important thing wasn't the W or the L today, it is Elgton Jenkins' health. If he's done for the year and they don't get Bakh back healthy, they aren't going anywhere. They are a one-and-done playoff team. If Bakh comes back, they can be good enough on the OL, but without both of them they are cooked.

Positives

Rodgers looked his normal self

MVS on this tape will force DCs to put the safeties back more

Nijman held up at LT for the last couple of series.

Kenny Clark and Preston Smith were lights out.

AJ Dillon knows the blitz packages well enough to be a 3 down back.

Negatives

You have to consider moving on from Crosby at the bye week. I love the guy as an all-time Packer, but he's been a trainwreck for multiple weeks now. If you have a veteran OL or DL guy that has a bad year and their play degrades, you can still get by with them because they will know their place. Not so with a FG kicker.

Guys either have a knack for catching the ball or they don't. Savage doesn't and never will. Woodson, Tramon, Butler, (and I hate to say it, but Sharper) did.

Amari Rodgers continues to be worthless as a returner. Not only does he offer no big play potential, but he constantly seems to blow field position by failing to make fairly routine fair catches. He also can't even get on the field as a receiver. St. Brown is ahead of him on the depth chart now. Maybe he turns it around next year, but he looks like he's headed in the colossal bust direction right now (a guy they trade up to get).

Another negative. You have the ball at the 35 with ten seconds left in the first half and all three timeouts. Why kneel? You could work the middle of the field and pick up 10-15 yards and have one play for a Hail Mary in the end zone. Sure it's not likely you'll score, but there's always a chance and Rodgers is the most successful Hail Mary passer in NFL history.

Even if you don't want to risk the throw, spread the field out and let Dillon get a shot at running through the middle. Maybe you get enough yards to try a Hail Mary.

Aaron re-injured his toe......it’s worse then turf toe.

Aaron Rodgers suffered more than just a loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday afternoon.

The Green Bay Packers quarterback told reporters after the game that he reaggravated his toe injury during the first half of Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Vikings when his toe was stepped on in the first half.

“It’s going to be another painful week next week, and then hopefully feel better over the bye," Rogers said.
