Positive Polly

11 - 3 and haven't really played like it lately

Tyler Ervin has a home in GB

Clark and D-Line did a real good job

2010 Packers went 2-2 in December and got shutdown 10-3 in their final home game by the Bears.

I think the Packers are one dominating win away from going "on a roll" deep into the playoffs.

Negative Nancy

Struggling offense is due to...?   Inconsistent play-calling, sub-par personnel (ie., WRs and TEs), Rodgers not yet comfortable.

MVS - that drop was inexcusable.  His confidence must be gone after that one

GMO - Two costly drops

Adams - Two drops (He's paid not to drop those passes)

Jones had a rough day blocking blitzers

Graham a non-factor...again

Not sure why the Packers haven't used more of their hurry-up offense?

You spoiled A-Holes are insane.

11-3 football team. My God....

Rodgers has a minimum 3 years left.

1007

You would think the 2019 Packers are really a team from the 70's or 80's that is 3-11 and not 11-3 by the whining I see here.

Positives;  they beat the Bears that is all that matters and this team is in the playoffs.  This team has made a pretty damn good turn around after the last couple of years.

Negatives:  None they beat the Bears

+ win, is a win, is a win

+ 52 was in the game some, and got a sack

+ 23 had a good game some nice breakups and a real nice one in the EZ

+ 50 the whipping boy...but let me tell you, when he got hurt i was crapping my pants when 42 was in the game, 50 is not the ideal ilb, but he's alot better than what we have right now, if we lost him, the d would become pretty bad, pretty quick.

+ return game was not negative for the game.  yes that is where we are right now.

- drops (83,81,17)

- same as other games, we left alot on the table

- no dynamic wr's that scare anyone other than 17.  you can see it the way they play them.  16 had a real nice play, but that was kind of it...

- don't understand not going for FG's - on both sides, these gamblers keep getting screwed by this and i just don't understand in a tough game, why you wouldn't take the points...sstop that nonsense, jeez.

POS

Rashan Gary is about the only player on the Defense who plays with fire and fire until the whistle. He pushed the pocket, got pressure and got a sack. Easily the best game of his brief career.

Ervin is a revelation as a returner. Run to daylight. How fucking hard is that? Apparently harder than it looks based on the stumble bums GB has put back to return kicks and punts for years.

OTs had a good game.

Clark was/is a beast.

NEG

WRs. No catch, no run

DBs dropped about 14 interceptions and were 1/2 inch away from 20 more.

Martinez...... I don't know what to say. In space he looks like a beat down dog. No speed, no quickness, no chance.

Burks. If he cannot beat out Martinez he must really be worthless. He's fast. He has length and size but I think he doesn't have a clue or something.

It would've been close. Tramon was right there, maybe he stops him OOB, maybe not. Just ridiculous it's even this close.

Trubisky fumbled the initial lateral.  Under 2 minutes the only person that can advance a fumble is the fumbler.  The play was dead right then.   There is no need for an argument.

Hey now! Positive thoughts about Rashaan Gary will not get you invited to the Negative Nancy Christmas Special!

This team is fun. Much to correct. But isn't it more fun to correct these things when you're winning??

This team fights hard & continues to win. They keep fighting through adversity. It's fun (yes, & Stressful!!) to watch. They're going to be a tough out in the playoffs.

Enjoy the ride folks. Your worst 11-3 team Packers are headed back to the playoffs!!

I'll bet Preston Smith is thrilled.

It would have been reviewed by the booth.

- Loved the fire the defense showed early on. They played with emotion at the gun and kept the Bears pretty well under control for almost 3 quarters.

- Agree with way too many drops by the receivers. Was it the cold or are these guys really that bad? A couple of really catchable balls that could have extended drives and the one that was an imminent score. The margin that separates good from great (or elite) can be mighty slim.

- As Bulaga indicated in his post-game comments, there's "a lot of guys in this locker room haven't won a lot of games the last two years." I think this team is still learning how deal with success, maybe celebrating too early. Hence the heart-attack finishes and the offensive inconsistency late in the game.

- That crazy final play was worrisome but at the same time showed how desperate the Bears were playing. Awesome to see it fizzle out for them.

Did anyone else feel like Charles Davis and the other guy were almost more excited to watch Chicago than GB? It seemed like every time Chicago did something well or almost well (not often) they spoke louder and had more material and every time something went well for GB is more muted. I like Charles Davis normally, but it seemed like the expectation from FOX was that Chicago was going to roll through this game to advance the Cinderella story comeback Bears narrative...wah wah wah. It's not the first time this year it felt like FOX was heavily pushing a story with the expectation another team would win, it seemed like they expected the Lions would win to make the Matt Stafford/wife story more impactful...they cut back to her constantly through that game every time something positive happened. I'm not against them talking about Matt Stafford's wife, but for weeks they've barely mentioned all of the shit going on in Mason Crosby's life. It's sad and annoying.

I wouldn't have put any money on that.  Or of them ruling the play should have been dead at the fumble.  Easily seems like something NFLFU would have f'ed up.

I think these guys look for just about anything that they can try to squeeze some drama or emotion out of. A good comeback story, darkhorse victory, or cinderella narrative is just what they're looking for. Have you heard the coverage of the Buffalo win yesterday? I'm not sure if they're told to do it by the network or if it's just the nature of the job. It does get sickening and I always need to remind myself just what's going on. I usually turn down the audio at that point.

I'd much rather have the radio call piped in than the network clowns. Even opposing team's radio is good when they give insight on both teams. It's interesting to hear what the rival's broadcast team knows about GB. That said, they are selling a product. They're being paid to hype the game and teams and players. Long ago I couldn't stand listening to Summerall do a Packers game because he seemed so biased and only grudgingly gave my team credit. Everything was about DALLAS. Now I listen to old games and I hear an old, bored drunk guy who kept showing up because they paid him to. I used to love any pregame I could find, now I have zero interest in blowhards talking about what might happen during a game. Go check out Jimmy the Greek one time and listen to his "predictions." Pointless blather. These days I look at it as every team is assigned a broadcast team, and those broadcasters aren't really giving much insight, but the sounds of the game require that we tolerate the announcers. Ppl seem to like Romo. I won't say he's not good, but I can't place why he's looked at as one of the best. I'm biased here, because my favorite guy is from my hometown. The guy I liked best was Millen. As a color guy he explained things on the field ppl might not necessarily see, he held back no opinions if a guy was dogging it or made a stupid play, and he was good at explaining what teams were scheming to do. The good ones are few and far between nowadays. And the MNF crew? Sometimes hearing their slop makes me wonder if Goodell isn't trying to kill off MNF forever.
