They threw the ball 61 times and only come away with 16 points against the worst defense....a defense who lost 2 CB's in the game and were using PS guys as starters late in the game

the talent and the scheme on offense is a mess and MM and Co. don't seem to be able to figure things out which is the real scary thing. We finally saw them use Abby in 4 WR sets at least... but simply changing the personnel is just one step. They need to change up the damn scheme

Still had to rely a lot on scramble drill/schoolyard plays and receivers had to make some great catches in extremely tightly contested spaces just to extend drives. Of course, they still had a huge amount of 3 and outs....the one thing this offense does excel at

Are you fukking serious right now?

What happened with this?

Somebody made a comment and that's what's getting the headline. But according to observers there were several fans chanting during the moment of silence. "Go Pack Go". "Lions suck" etc.

+You are what your record says you are. This is still a 6-3 team. Saying they're not playing well is the understatement of the year, but there is still a good team in there that needs to find the magic once again. Q1 of this season was strong (4-0)...Q2 was rough (2-2)...Q3 is starting even rougher. This may be the kind of rock bottom that will force admittance that there is a problem and there needs to be a solution.

-Where do you even start with this team's issues? 2/3 of the team is playing far below their capabilities, including the QB.

I feel for those who attended that game in person.  I'd be pulling my hair out.

MM does have a history of staying with what's not working for all too long.  He'd better start to see that the dike has giant leaks in it and change things up, or he puts his own job in jeopardy

I hope Thompson has a "come to Jesus meeting with him tomorrow.

1.  If  MM isn't calling plays next week I'll tear my one remaining hair out!  Clements and AR may be good buddies, but for cripes sake, give it up!!!!

2.  Why can't Adams secure the ball?  Or Jones?

3.  In the first half Rodgers had some guys wide open and was way off.  That's not what we're used to seeing.  He clearly wasn't happy with MM not calling that TO before the 2-minute mark.  And the looks of confusion and indecision we've been seeing on his face, I can't help but think something is wrong with him.  Either way, someone needs to work with him.  I also don't see AR talking to his WR's on the sidelines like he normally does.  Somethings's off.

4.  Glad to see Perillo get some playing time.  He's looked good to me and it's about time they gave him a chance.

5.  ARod sacked again.  3x.  Why is this OL so bad this year?  Why doesn't ARod get outside the pocket more often, like he used to?  If coaches are telling him to stay in the pocket, I think that's horrible advice

I want to know WTF happened to my 6-0 football team?

I'm betting on 9-7 or 10-6. They'll either just squeak in as a WC or miss it by a hair. Either way, McCarthy needs to be fired. I really hope he proves me wrong, but something needs to change if I'm not. This roster has enough talent to win football games, and they're not getting the leadership they need to fight through adversity. We've known it for many years with Capers now, and now after this Clements fiasco, this crap is coming straight from the head coach.

AR 12 seems very unhappy, frustrated, no rhythm, very indecisive.  I think it starts with Clements. Aaron is not happy with the play calling switch. MM must have told Aaron we will sink or swim with Clements and we are sinking.  MM does not want to go over his assistants head but he may have to in order to save the season. Take back the play calling Mike. Right this ship now.

It is evident that they have no scheme to effectively counter the opposing teams' defensive strategies. If you cannot do that with the consensus best QB in the NFL pulling the trigger, you're failing to put players in positions to succeed. But also part of the equation is a lack of playmaking.

Gone are the days where the Packer offense seems to be a step ahead of the D. There's unintelligent football being played right now and that's coaching.

Forget about HFA. And until they can start running the ball, forget about playoffs.

Arod runs the offense this week with orders to have fun, be very aggressive and break all trends. Get everybody involved, including coaching staff. No disrespecting allowed, make it a team mission.

Hang a 50 burger on the Vikes and burn that MF'er down in Minneapolis.

Frustrating thing is that the defense actually played well today, minus no real sacks, but Adams couldn't catch a cold, and Rodgers was throwing worm burners like McNabb.  He really had some poor throws.  Wow.

Why did it seem like the vast majority of the passes were going to Adams on the outside?  Why not get a little more creative?  It's like the offense is being run by a 13 year old playing Madden who has a particular favorite play they like to use.

I don't disagree with your recommendation but there's nothing to suggest Rodgers was or is upset about the playcalling switch. Everything in his history suggests he is very close to Clements. I dare say closer than with McCarthy.

Rodgers is just playing poorly. Indecisive, holding the ball too long, worsening fundamentals, not cutting it loose until the team has mountains to climb. Plus acting like a petulant dick way too much.

Detroit Lions kick returner Ameer Abdullah tied an NFL record Sunday afternoon -- and it is one that could be tough to top, Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com reports.

Abdullah returned the second-half kickoff 104 yards for the Detroit Lions and was stopped one yard from scoring, tying the 104-yard kick return by Percy Harvin in 2011 as the longest non-scoring play in NFL history.

The Elias Sports Bureau confirmed Abdullah's return was the longest since Harvin's and in 2011, the bureau confirmed Harvin's was the longest non-scoring play in NFL history.

Abdullah didn't know he tied a record until a reporter told him after the game in the locker room.

"For real?" Abdullah said, laughing. "Joke's on me."

Abdullah said the return happened just how the Lions drew it up, but he slowed down toward the end of the return.

"That sparked a good start to the second half," Abdullah said. "From that point on, we felt we could really dictate the game."

Thought this was interesting......hope you can read it.

Really?

10 catches for 79 yards.

I understand he had some drops but your statement is completely inaccurate.

You did touch on Rodgers throwing worm-burners. I have NFI what happened to our MVP QB, nor our 6-0 football team but something happened over the bye week.

Guys are playing like they just don't care in almost all facets of the team. I don't understand why.
