I think the guy covering the receiver was going to pick it if the guy right in front of him the entire play (with a clear lane of vision) hadn't caught it.

Just forget running the ball on first and/or second for christ's sake.
Fucking Locke
Anthony with a big catch!
BADGERS IN THE RED ZONE ON THE WILLIAMS CATCH!
Locke throws a terrible pick 6, and then throws two beautiful throws on the next drive.
This play calling is complete garbage. I mean.
Vakos hits a 32 yarder. 14-13 Penn State.

and ah, who does that remind you ofβ¦..I am not gonna sayβ¦β¦but you know who right??
I know this has been discussed many times, but, aside from Russell Wilson, why...why...can't the Badgers ever get a decent quarterback?
PS back up QB has some wheels.
With the OL rep, it should be a no brainer. Not going to get sacked much, good to great OL, good to great running game, decent to great WR.
Why can't they recruit QBs?

Well, in this day and age, it means they don't have any alumni to shell out the 2-3 million a year it takes to get one in the portal.
They have had decent Qbβs. Decent is not good enough.
The only thing this backup Penn State QB can do is run.
It will probably be enough after the gift pick six.
NIL is going to kill teams like Wisconsin.
and damn I do love that jump aroundβ¦β¦ now come on Buckyβ¦..kick some Penn St ass. β₯οΈ π€ β₯οΈ

Not a good excuse. This has been going on well before NIL.
Too many Badgers on the field. Penn State at the 3.

6 for 8, 55 yds
Badgers are now one more Locke interception away from a dagger.
That pick 6 completely changed the complexion of the entire game.
TD Penn St.
TD Penn State. PAT is good 21-13

He looked like a different QB on that drive. I was reading some PSU comments on social media when he came in and their fans were saying the guy can't throw at all.
That pass on the crossing route that he made is often a interception. He looked right and then came back to the middle and never saw the LB and the Wisconsin LB was one step away. The other throws were mostly wide open throws. He made them, but they were extremely well schemed.
Listen to the fans sit with the fans
Run game doing nothing for Bucky. 3rd and long, again!
Fucking Locke
A pathetic series there. A decent first down play and then a run into 3 guys to the right and whatever that Locke 3rd down throw was.
It looked like a team that had never practiced together
Fickel in a pickle.
Well, Locke is in a long line of suck. Who's on deck?
Just disjointed offense again
@Pikes Peak posted:Listen to the fans sit with the fans
Of course, Penn State fans probably have a different threshold for what's considered a good QB.
Need a miracle now to win this game. Offense canβt do shit right now. OL isnβt playing well and Locke is completely skittish.
Badgers were in control until Locke threw that Favrian pick 6.
Defense looks like they are out of gas.
In the 2nd half the run defense has really sucked

That wasn't even Favrian. I don't know what the word for that pass was. It was like he was playing catch in his backyard with a friend. The guy was right in front of him the entire time with a clear lane of vision.
Get a TFL to give up a 1st down on the next play.

Looked Rodgersian. Only guy open was the Penn St DB.
