I get how this play has started every year. Concern is the play looks the same and we’ve seen the ending.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like it?

Even after the win, I am now on the official fire MM bandwagon. And to those who ask who we should replace him with, I answer, Marty Mornhinwig. In fact he has ties to GB as a coach under Holmy. It was just I thought I had after watching both Packers-Bills and Ravens-Steelers. Also, Rodgers interview today indicated his lack of faith in MM.

Because Marty did such an amazing job the last time he was a HC!
Marty was 5-27 in his two years with the Lions. Packers need to go young and avoid the retreads if they make a change.

I wonder how ‘young and innovative’ will work with Rodgers. Generally that works better with young quarterbacks who are learning and growing. I’m unsure how Rodgers reacts to a young head coach with no experience. Just my take.

Any of the previous years I would have agreed. This year, we finally have a new D.C. so we need to give it the full season. At least until we're knocked out of contention.

If the coach can explain the logic behind his plan, I can't see Rodgers having issue. He may be an asshole, but he is an intelligent asshole. If it makes sense, he will buy in.
Exactly. If anything, Rodgers and a new coach in agreement can get that offense up to speed in a hurry. Does anyone think Rodgers wouldn't be as happy as hell running what McVay is running in L.A.? The Packers are already fixing a leaky boat. I don't see how McVince offers some kind of stability when it's his game plan and ****ty management being "fixed". It isn't some colossal undertaking to implement a football scheme, especially with an all world QB.
McVince needs greener pastures. Go be an OC with a QB like Alex Smith.

Also, if you plan on shoving something in your ass, tie a string to it. Just a quick PSA from the doc.
This should be the Packers personnel strategy. As Glockenspiel said, "You can't fill all your holes . . . or at least put a string on it "
The final nail could be at CHI. If their offense looks anything like it did yesterday when we see them again, it will be in stark contrast to what MM can still bring to the table if he doesn't get his own offense out of 2nd gear. A lot can and probably will happen before then but Nagy has shown what another young up and coming offensive mind is capable of.

Fixable rift, and I believe the rift will be a good thing.
Watched the gamepass replay. The constant changes to personnel on offense really disrupted the flow. I believe that is what irritated AR most. That said, Rodgers was off on too many throws yesterday. Also, AJones needs 20+ touches a game.

Is Joe Philbin simply collecting a paycheck?
I don't know. I keep hearing about the genius that is McVince, I just assumed he was running the show.

I think AR12 is aware of what is going on in LA and I would guess he wants someone who thinks like that. I still have no idea what happened at half-time against the Bills, but if someone claims the only time MM makes halftime adjustments is after his game plan is actually working in the first half, I'd be inclined to believe it.

AR12 was off on a few throws, he had more beauties that were dropped. But he did throw a few stinkers, maybe no more than 3. The tipped INT and one more are what I recall that could be assigned to AR12.
He would have thrown three INTs if the Bills DBs could catch.

True, but I think he has grown or has taken something from one of his underlings. What I saw from him as a OC against the Steelers was innovative play calling and game plan. The Steelers had a defense that looked like ours and Marty had a gameplan plan for it. MM is too damn stubborn to try anything new.

and that is so UNLIKE him.....rusty is all I’m thinking with not practicing everyday.
I don't know. Might have something to do with only having 1 receiver on the field with him that he has any history with.
So he's not as good as we think he is.
Check.
He specifically mentioned Jones during the week. We all saw what AJ did, but he still didn't get enough touches. Post game AR mention's more targets for Tae and Graham... he also mentioned no flow after the early part of the game. Too many different personnel groupings. AR is moving well and waiting for personnel and plays. Not a good recipe for someone who likes to play quick. Cut him loose.
I'd expect MN would sign McCarthy. At lease he has 1.5 good eyes.
Fine Fine OC talks about the offense
Pretty interesting takes on everything from "rtfb" and "Rodgers always goes off McVince's script".
Yeah.
“You have what happened last year (Rodgers’ broken collarbone), you could see right away in OTAs, he came back in great shape,” McCarthy said. “In the new stuff we put in on offense, the guy put in a frickin’ clinic. I have videotape of him in footwork drills and individual drills that I will use for the rest of my life.
...
McCarthy said Rodgers’ left knee sprain, too many penalties and lost-yardage plays and poor ball-handling have kept him from digging deeper into his playbook and running some of the new material that was added during the offseason.
Scrubbed playbook
...
Against Minnesota, McCarthy said on the first deep ball he called, Rodgers got sacked. The second one he called also resulted in a sack. He said he couldn’t keep letting Rodgers get hit, so he backed off on those lower-percentage “shot” plays.
More Rodgers freelancing.
...
In the second half, Buffalo changed up its defense and started bringing a safety up to the line of scrimmage to stop the run and add numbers to the pass rush. Rodgers felt he could have a field day with receiver Davante Adams in single coverage, but McCarthy felt he needed to finish the game with his rushing attack.
So McVince does RTFB.
Some fallacious arguments being kicked around this forum, particularly Rodgers "not sticking to the gameplan", along with some vindication for McVince.
The important thing here is the Rodgers makes McVince's life hard argument is horse****.
THAT was a very enlightening article. Thanks Henry.

Thanks Henry, what’s an incognito window? In any case, I will poke around and try to figure it out. I now use an iPad.
Just use private browsing, PP, if you use Safari or Firefox. No problems ever.

I often poke around in an incognito window.
I was once hazed by an Incognito window. What a bully.
I opened the incognito window and all I see are tats!
You guys crack me up.
I never wanted an iPad because I was just learning the right click thing on windows. But I got one for Xmas.
On iOS, aka iPad, you can watch your tai boy porn by using a "private" tab in safari. Same thing as incognito in chrome.
