Except Bart Starr….dude was special.

Yup, a word of advice.  Don’t buy team gear with a personnel name on the back. Bart is the exception.

The saddest thing I ever saw (not really,  just hyperbole for this discussion only) was an AJ Hawk jersey on the make an offer rack at 3pm on Saturday at a garage sale.

The guy couldn’t even give it a away. Stick with PACKER gear.

Yup, the only jersey I ever bought was in the late 70's. Russell Athletics were selling off official jerseys with your choice of number and name.
(even room for shoulder pads)
I bought 2 with #1 with our family name for my son and I.
Still have mine...

Much different than most of the others that left.

Davante is on pace for 99 receptions, 1407 yards, and 17 TDs. Those are still HOF level numbers.

He wanted to make tens of millions, live in Vegas, and hang out with his college buddy. That probably is a goal for a lot of guys in their 20s and 30s.

He was frustrated after a tough loss and shoved a guy who was in his way from getting to the tunnel. It's unacceptable and he'll get a fine for it, but it didn't look like the kind of force that you normally see a guy fall that hard from. I think the guy was already kind of moving to get out of the way and his momentum and being off-balance made the shove look worse than it actually was.

If you watch the video, it doesn't appear that the guy is really in his way and Davante could have easily avoided him and he has to know that there's going to be lots of foot traffic with people and players after the game. He issued a lame apology that wasn't really an apology that just made himself  look like more of an ass.

This might be my opportunity to piss off pakrz with my annual comment that nobody over the age of 12 should be wearing a game jersey anyway because it kind of screams, “Look—I’m on the team!” A tasteful logo’d polo shows your team allegiance just fine. 😀

Getting shoved when you least expect it while carrying items in your hands can easily result in broken bones.  I know from experience.  Broken collarbone in multiple places landing on cement.  Your lizard brain doesn't think "throw those items to the side and brace the fall", it keeps holding on to them while your entire body falls down.

I mean, watch the video, same thing happens to that guy, keeps holding on to his stuff but just happens to roll to his backside instead of like me who went shoulder-first into pavement.

Pushing 30, and coming off a couple seasons where he dealt with hamstring injuries, I think playing in an indoor stadium and in a warm weather division played a big role too. I don't think playing in January in Green Bay, WI thrilled him at this stage of his career.

The only point that matters to me? No one has the right to put their hands on you. It’s battery. Plain and simple.

or a hat!

Well he’s playing with his bestie for all the money he wants… so I’m not sure why he’s mad they lost and are 1-4, the Raiders were never going anywhere except to the wild card runner-up podium.

Hmmm. Two different angles, two different shoves. Could there have been a second shover. Was anyone looking at the grassy knoll?

No black people.

Green Bay hasn't changed in 60 years, has it?

Pretty sure there's no woman in the front row...

The short toe-head in front of the swarthy mustachioed gentleman could be a woman in 2022. Easily. In fact, is that Megan Rapinoe?

Doug Gottlieb is an idot of magnificant proportions.  All Dah-vante had to do was stop and let the guy pass. It didn't even appear he was going to take a pic of him or anything.   Just being a typical WR diva.

I'm halfway up in the sunglasses and hat. Too bad I didn't know it was you. We could have met up after the game for some Butter Burgers and Brats!
