It looks like one of those cases where neither person is paying attention and they're on a collision course -- but then one looks up at the last second and shoves the other one out of the way. The lower angle makes it seem like they bump into each other, while the upper angle it's clear that they don't touch each other until Adams gives him the ol' two-handed shove. All Adams had to do was stop and let the guy pass.

On the other hand, photographers have to be more aware of their surroundings especially after a game when emotions are high.

It's gonna cost Adams, and it will probably be one of those "agree to not disclose" cases.

In times past, I'd like to think a situation like this would be handled with a private, face-to-face apology and handshake, a nice dinner out for him and a guest, perhaps some tickets and/or autographed merchandise.
But I'm going to guess the photo guy doesn't particularly want any D. Adams swag, and I don't know if tickets would do him any good if he's credentialed at GEHA stadium, so what could be worked out?
And, I don't know if he wants to be a dick about it. Yeah, Davante was totally in the wrong, and all this "awareness" bullshit is victim blaming, but it's still something they should settle privately. No need for it be blown out of proportion.

Did the paparazzi guy get hurt?   Was his equipment damaged?  Does the severity of the result of the battery play into the penalty?

IMO 17 was at fault, has apologized and depending on the answers to the above questions this should be settled between the 2 parties.

Lets move on

Adams charged with misdemeanor assault.

Keeps heading down the "cut a check and it'll disappear" path.

True. I'm glad he was charged though. It sends the right message that these Divas can't just walk around and put their hands on people. His apology sucked as well.
