Tried to listen to local LA talk radio to get a bead on the Rams. It’s all about Lakers this Lakers that, blah blah blah. I listen to San Diego station more than the 2 Laker  outlets.

LA Times today had a story about MLF and his relationship with McVey. At this point in the season, there is a lot of "next year" thinking from some of their top players. Who can blame them.

@TomPelissero: The #Packers are releasing WR Sammy Watkins, per sources.  Watkins will go on waivers.

Timing is a bit of a surprise but thought they might do it a bit sooner than they did.

Only Jones and Dillon on the 53 as of this morning, so making room for Taylor?

He's used his 3 PS call-ups, so needs to be signed to 53 if they want him.

And honestly, is Watkins a better option than any of:  Watson; Doubs; Lazard; Cobb; Toure?

Played eleven snaps total in the last two games and he was just wasting a roster spot.

First time this year that Packers had all wide receivers available to play, Sammy is odd man out.
