I believe Pina's 10 day DL is retroactive to Friday. Need him back.
Hopefully Nottingham shows something ...more than Bandy....at least.
Good Lord whatβs with all the injuries?
Why can't they let Sogard catch?
because he sucks
I would think that would help with catching.

It's like the weather around here, it sucks.
this team needs to make hay against teams like the Reds
and cut Sogard
And Drake is on a major league roster because.........???????
Getting boat raced by the worst team in baseball. A team that may lose 110 games.
**** me
This Brewers team must be taking a cue from Marquette or the Bucks. A lot of hype but whereβs the results? Maybe itβs Milwaukee thing.
Memo to Davey Stearns
Starting pitching counts. Right now they have Anderson and thatβs it.
4 run inning might have mattered if Drake wasnβt allowed to give this game away.
Nice job by Guerra. 3 walks but 7 Ks to go with them and only 1 hit.
What a shot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nottingham is going to be good.
...and Jeffress IS good.
Still think itβs a travesty not giving Hader a few opportunities to start. Especially with this staff.
Guerra with another pretty good start. Keep it up as they need to get Davies on track.
Guerra has a legit shot at the Cy Young
Sogard will win a MVP before Guerra will win a Cy Young.
that right, because Guerra has a history of being a successful baseball player and Sogard has a career .311 OBP and SLG's a solid 11 points higher than that.
I thought Nottingham looked like a catcher. The knock on him was always his defense, but I thought he got in front of the ball and out of the crouch like a pro. Didn't see the arm showcased, but it was encouraging.
Yelich back in today's lineup.
Is Thames on a roll or what?

Ummm, no. Not really.
Bats not off to a good start in April.
4th fewest runs in the NL.

Dun.
If Eric Thames played against the Reds his whole career he'd be the best player in MLB history. It's now 17 starts- it's not a tiny sample size. Basically multiply it by 10 to extrapolate it out to a year.
17 starts
65 AB, 22 hits, 12 HRs, 21 RBIs, 15 walks, 2 HBPs.
.338 average, .475 OBP, .908 SLG, 1.383 OPS
The Reds have announced they are replacing manager Bryan Price and pitching coach Mack Jenkins. Effective immediately, bench coach Jim Riggleman is interim manager, Louisville manager Pat Kelly is bench coach, and Pensacola pitching coach Danny Darwin is major league staff.
