The Bucks will finish a 6 game home stand on MON with 3 games in 4 nights at Fiserv- Hawks, Raptors, and Jazz. Not an easy stretch, with the Toronto game on a BTB. Jazz are starting to come around as well.

Then they’re a road team for 5 of the next 6. Rockets-Wizards-Hawks, home versus Miami, then Grizzlies-Magic.

Then they get Hornets-Mavs before going back on the road for 5 games against Thunder-Pistons-Raptors-Wizards-Nets. After coming back home against the Wizards, 3 of the final 4 are back on the road- Mavs, then home against the Magic, then at Bulls-Pacers to finish to the All Star Break.

That’s 13 of 18 on the road between this coming MON and FEB 13th. These are not all tough games, but they do have Toronto and Dallas twice, plus Thunder and Rockets on the road. Dallas is no slouch these days as Doncic is emerging as a force.

Need to keep playing D.

It was astounding what a mismatch that was tonite.  The game was basically over with a few minutes left in the 1st quarter.   I'm a season ticket holder for the Bucks and I can't imagine how anyone would ever want to get season tickets for that Hawks team.  Man are they awful.

I think if the Bucks had rested their entire starting lineup, I think their reserves alone could beat that Hawks team.

Gets quite a bit tougher tommorow night though.

They are doing what they are supposed to do which is beat up on lesser teams.  People were concerned after the 7-0 start but you have to look at their schedule at that time.  They navigated their toughest stretch and came out of it pretty well.

It gets a bit more challenging once again starting tonight against Toronto but this Bucks team isn’t afraid and in fact I think they are starting to intimidate teams with their ability to score in bunches and defend.

Of their 27 wins, 19 of them were by double digits and a number of them were 15+ points or more.  That’s the sign of a pretty good team.

Giannis makes it 96-95 with a clutch 3 and then the Bucks let up off the pedal... 12-1 run with Leonard back on the floor and they’re in trouble.

Now down 12. Somehow they don't give Giannis the ball for 5 possessions after they get back in it.

Well, Toronto wanted this one way more than Milwaukee did. They got 21-31 and 51 points from Ibaka and Siakem... that was the difference. 14-31 from three for Toronto, and Van Vleet hit 5 of them.

Toronto plays Indiana tomorrow- they might lose by 30...

Missing layups....missing wide open 3's....missing free throws. They didn't deserve to win this one...

It's a marathon not a Sprint. Lotta basketball to play. I like Milwaukee's chances in a 7 game series vs. these guys

For the life of me I don’t understand why Giannis does not get more fouls and free throws.  It’s not like he just sits outside and shoots 3s.

Regardless,  Toronto played better tonight.  They shoot 35% from 3 all year but hit 45% in this game.  If the Raptors shoot that well it will be tough to beat them.

Bucks will be OK.  They can play with those guys.

Giannis finished with 43-17-4, but they got only 43 from Brogdon/Middleton/Bledsoe, and that’s not going to cut it.

The Bucks allowed too much penetration and the Bucks couldn’t get enough on the other end.

Not having DJ Wilson or Middleton for long stretches really hurt the defense. It's interesting how key Wilson has become.

Raptors 2nd, 3rd, and 4th top scorers (Siakam, Ibaka, VanVleet) outscored Bucks 2,3, and 4 (Brogdon, Bledsoe, Middleton) 30,25,21 to 15,14,14 or 33 points.

Didn't see the game, but looks like outside Giannis, Bucks got thrashed.

It's interesting that DJ Wilson was +8 on the +/-. Maybe he's a key guy against top teams going forward.

Maker with no minutes.

We didn’t see much of him in the second half. Sure would like to see if he can check Leonard...

They announced during the game he was out with a hip pointer

If teams are going to be allowed to bang the Bucks like Toronto did last night, but the Bucks aren’t allowed to bang back, it’s going to be really hard to win. Seemed like the officiating didn’t start seeing things Milwaukee’s way until the 4th quarter- meanwhile Middleton was already in foul trouble and Lopez got T’d up from the bench.

Closely matched teams. Bucks missed a lot of open looks. Toronto made a lot of contested looks. One of those night. Better bring it against Utah... can’t have a losing streak.

DJ being out meant more Ersan.....holy **** he was brutal.

Surprised they didn't play Maker.

Like I said.....marathon, not a Sprint. Have  patience. Don't want to show your ✋ before the All-Star break. Budd knows what he's doing. I also like how he yelled at Giannis early in the 3rd Q. That's right SuperStar, you get coached up too.

They won this battle....Bucks still winning the war.

Toronto did a sold job defending , but they were lights out shooting it last night. Hard to see them hitting 45% from the 3point line on a regular basis. The starters were up around 60% last night.

Most frustrating was the fact that Siakam was left open so much....Leonard, Siakam, and Ibaka scored 85 points !!! Let KL have his, but ****ing guard Siakam ffs.

Ibaka must love playing the Bucks. Wide open elbow shots all night.

Since Ibaka joined the Raptors he’s owned the Bucks.   He’s a decent player, but he plays like a HOF against this team.

Milwaukee still leads the season series 2-1 and the reality is outside of Giannis no one really played that great.  Ersan was awful and as some of you have mentioned you see the difference that DJ Wilson can make.

Something to consider is when you look at these teams they are pretty evenly matched until you get to the benches.  That’s where Milwaukee should have a clear advantage.

Realizing hindsight is 100%, on the second night of a back to back, Toronto beat Pacers by 16.

They sat Leonard.

This article in the ringer.com really breaks down the problems have with Ibaka (and with Al Horford and Myles Turner among others).
