"Never have gotten the complete details regarding his departure from GB."

I read another site that quoted him (roughly) when he returned to the Jets regarding his leaving GB: "I realized when my son started asking' Dad, how do you...?' that it was time to be a father again."

Remember, a lot of these guys don't bring their family with them to the city where they coach. That's a lot of away time and the choice to quit is one many would make if they had the resources of a retired football star.

I liked his playing skills, and his intense hitting, but like many football players who show that energy and his own admittance of using stuff to give him that boost, it looks like it may have caught up to him. Nobody knows truly how he died, except for his wife. She seen him everyday as a normal guy at home, how he acted, what is moods were like, how much sleep or other daily life doings. It may have been a heart attack. Its a shame to see a popular player die so young. But if the use of his " Go Go" juice cause his death, then that's really sad.

Yeah, I think I'll wait until the cause of death becomes public (if it ever does) before I speculate on if anything he did contributed to his own death.

If you haven't watched the Pat McAfee show yesterday for the Tuesday Aaron Rodgers segment, make sure to set aside some time for that. It was a short segment but AJ Hawk shares some awesome stories about Kevin Greene. It's a must see 15 or so minutes of viewing.
